All kinds of weaving can be divided into several types.
- The English braid is a traditional hairstyle popular with women in the UK. This is a very simple, three-strand design. After brushing, the hair is divided into three equal segments. For weaving, a simple action is used on the left above the middle and on the right above the middle.
- The French braid is something else. The hair is not divided into three parts at once, one curl is taken, the rest is added gradually, grabbing one bundle after another from the head and intertwining them together according to the same principle that is used to create an English braid.
Hair should not be braided too tightly, on the contrary, this is the appeal of braiding, which creates amazing volume.
- Dutch braid has an inverted shape, but is essentially the same as the French version. It is done by crossing, not over, but under each curl.
- During manufacture swiss braid, the hair is divided into two halves in the center, up to the back of the head. The left side is woven into a simple three-strand braid. After securing the end with an elastic band, it is wrapped around the head from the back to the right ear.On the other hand, the same is repeated, only the braid is fixed in front of the forehead. The result is something like a crown.
- Can be done rope braidswhile the hairstyle looks complicated, it really isn't. It is advisable to use a spray bottle with water and a comb during the weaving process. To begin with, the hair is pulled into a ponytail. Having secured with an elastic band, it is divided into two strands. Now each is twisted clockwise to give the appearance of a rope. The right part is wrapped counterclockwise over the left very tightly, then the left over the right.
- A large number of strands are used in stranded braids. In such a hairstyle, their number ranges from five to nine. This is a tricky one, so it takes a lot of patience.
Fundamental rules
Many women, especially those with daughters, would like to master the art of braiding. Experts identify the following requirements that should be taken into account if you want your hairstyle to be perfect:
- hair should be well combed;
- good weaving is obtained when the strands are of the same length;
It is not enough to simply separate each strand evenly, it will need to be delayed in order to exclude the appearance of knock-out curls.
- all curls are pulled with the same force, otherwise one part of the hairstyle will be tightly pulled, the other weakly;
- before you start creating a hairstyle, you need to prepare elastic bands, hairpins, combs, a spray bottle with water.
How to choose a braid for a little girl?
Plain English pigtail is most commonly used by women in young children. Weaving it takes the least time. Divide your hair into three curls well enough to braid your hair. But sometimes in this version, with too much activity, the hairstyle quickly unravels, takes on a sloppy look. You can simply get out of the situation - you must first collect all the hair in a high ponytail, and then only weave a braid.
If the hair is of the same length, then you can give it volume, for this, after the pigtail is finished, each strand will need to be slightly removed from the weave.
On curls of medium length, French weaving also looks good, since it allows you to better fix curls that are too short on top, so they do not even tuck into the tail. In this case, it is worth starting to weave from the forehead line, highlighting three strands as the first, and then gradually adding curls to them on each side. The principle of weaving is the same as that of the English braid.
Even on medium hair length, the fishtail braid looks good, although it takes more time from the mother, it is worth trying, since such weaving holds well and can withstand the child's hyperactivity. It is worth adhering to the following algorithm of actions:
- first you need to comb your hair back, divide it into two parts;
- each half is taken in the hand, but a thin strand is pulled back by the index finger; approximately its thickness should be up to 2.5 cm;
- weaving begins on the left, the strand is transferred to the right hand;
- the same is repeated on the reverse side, that is, a thin strand on the right is transferred to the left side and lies in the hand to all hair;
- thus, you should move to the end of the hair length, then the braid is fixed with an elastic band, you can decorate with hairpins in the center.
For girls who have one hair length, but they do not like all curls tucked into a braid, you can offer a very interesting option by adhering to the following steps:
- curls are well combed;
- three strands are taken: one in the center of the forehead line, the second and third above the ears;
- they are intertwined in the center, each later becomes part of the center curl, and the side ones continue to grab from the sides;
- as a result, it turns out, as if loose hair is enclosed in an original mesh, which can be additionally decorated with accessories.
If the girl's lower curls are longer than the upper ones, then you can make the French braid weaving in the opposite direction, that is, from the bottom up. To create such a braid, you should follow these steps:
- you will need to divide the head into three parts, as in the case of weaving an English braid; in the process, it is desirable that the child bends forward, so it will be more comfortable.
- the curl on the right is first put under the central part, then on the left and so on to the very top, adding hair to the weaving each time;
- from above you can wind the muzzle, make a tail.
Other possible hairstyles
There are many simpler and more complex options for decorating your head with a scythe. All of them are easily assimilated on their own at home, and on the Internet there are numerous schemes that allow you to better understand the technology of a particular weaving.
You can braid an original French braid at home for school. The step-by-step process is as follows:
- first, a large curl is taken along the line of the entire forehead and is divided into three parts; the curls are intertwined according to the principle that is used in the English braid, only they should be crossed very freely, without tension, you can even comb it a little;
- the next time, curls are added to the left and right, thereby adding to the overall braid, but there is also no tension, the weaving should be voluminous;
- the area from the temples is captured completely, without dividing into strands; the curls are also woven, but they will be the last, since it remains just to weave the braid to the end, leaving the lower hair free;
- if there is not enough volume, you can slightly pull the strands out of the weaving.
The "Waterfall" hairstyle looks very nice on medium length. From the outside, it may seem that it is difficult to make such weaving on your own, in fact, the process takes only a few minutes. It is worth adhering to the following algorithm of actions:
- hair is combed well;
- make a side parting;
- begin to weave from the forehead, moving horizontally towards the temples;
- after a few centimeters, the upper curl fits into the middle strand, and the lower one is released downward;
- another curl is grabbed behind it from below, and we also start it by the middle strand;
- the process is repeated throughout the head, resulting in the feeling of a waterfall cascading through the hair; this hairstyle looks very original.
There are other ways how you can do your hairstyle in kindergarten for medium hair without spending a lot of time. The hardest part is to create braids with four or five strands as it takes a lot of patience.
So, it is worth following these steps:
- at the first stage, the hair is combed well, combed back so that there is no parting in the middle;
- the first right strand will need to be crossed with the one closest to it;
- the central strand is first crossed with the right curl, then with the left of it, but not with the strand that is to the left of the first, since it is crossed with the neighboring one on the right;
- according to this pattern, the entire braid is weaved, while you should not tighten it too much.
