Broken curls: what is it and how to do it?

The ability to effectively style your hair needs to be learned, like any art. It is important to understand how the curls are formed correctly, which hairstyle is appropriate for the upcoming celebration or for everyday use. The right styling for any occasion - broken curls, a trend that has not given up its leading positions for a long time.

Curls, twisted in a "zigzag" shape, are made on hair of any length. Minimum - grown up to 7 cm or more. "Curls-zigzags" are visually not very similar to all other types of curling. This is the most elementary and affordable styling option for many. Wet hair must be divided into a certain number of non-thick strands, taking into account how thick the curls are supposed to be. The smaller the width of the pigtail, the clearer the zigzag will come out and the more voluminous the hairstyle. • The heating of the remaining strands continues in the described manner. The foil can be removed if the strand has completely cooled down.

For them, you need a knitting needle, on which a thin strand is wound in the direction from the head and warmed up with an "iron". The strand is removed from the knitting needle when the rod has completely cooled down.

This is another budget method for creating beautiful "broken" curls.

You can wind up the entire strand or certain areas (for example, in the root zone). Curl hair must be damp. Therefore, you need to wait until they dry completely in curlers. If time is running out, you can dry the strands with a hairdryer. They remove the stylers carefully and spray the curls with varnish.

Many owners of hair that are longer than medium length have faced the fact that damp hair, which was in a bun for a long time, acquired natural waviness when unfolding. Such natural curls were preserved for a long time. It is even that simple to make stylish curls with a broken structure. But you need to make some adjustments to the process. Excessive weighting will deprive the hair of its airiness, then you will have to wash it the next day. After all, dust settles very well on the sticky layer of varnish.

Practice is key when creating eye-catching, broken curls. You should not try to create an unusual hairstyle without experience just before a significant event. The result may be disappointing. It is better to pre-train by choosing the option most suitable for the length of the hair.
