Professions in demand in Europe
Many European spheres of activity suffer from an acute shortage of good specialists. For migrants, this is a great chance to get a legal job with good pay. Usually employers themselves help to resolve all issues with the move. In this article, we will consider the most popular professions in the West that our compatriots can take.
What are the most popular professions?
The most demanded profession both in Europe and in any other part of the world is the doctor. Unfortunately, training in this specialty from our western neighbors is too expensive, and therefore requires considerable financial efforts from students. For this reason, many choose other areas, as a result of which there is an acute shortage of medical specialists. It should be noted that everywhere there is a shortage of highly specialized specialists, and not in ordinary therapists, who received a bunch of additional related specialties in refresher courses. Surgeons, anesthesiologists, gynecologists and other medical professionals are especially needed.
In addition to doctors, workers are needed in other medical fields of activity, for example, pharmacists, radiologists, technicians. The average salary of a medical professional depends on his specialty. For example, therapists earn from 10 thousand euros per month. The salary of workers in narrow specializations is twice the amount. It all depends on skills, professionalism and knowledge of the language.
The profession of a driver is also in demand, especially in category "E". These include truckers, drivers of regular buses, intercity and sightseeing buses. The average income in this case will be from 1200-2000 euros per month.
Europe needs builders whose salaries vary between 1500-5000 euros per month, depending on the type of profession and skill.
The following specialties are needed here:
- concrete workers;
- installers;
- interior and exterior decorating masters;
- handymen.
Most European women go to work from maternity leave just a few months after the birth of a child, so many of them have an urgent need for babysitting for babies. Finding a good nanny is a big problem, especially among your compatriots. Young parents have to look for such personnel among migrants. Salary in this case depends on language proficiency and the availability of a driver's license confirmed in European territory, since the crumbs will soon need to be taken to different classes. The average income of a nanny ranges from 500 to 1000 euros per month. If you have a medical or higher pedagogical education, income may be more significant.
In large houses, a servant is needed: a cook, a housekeeper, a cleaning service, and other specialists to care for the territory. They usually pay from 700 to 2000 euros per month. Of the advantages of such work, one can single out free accommodation and meals, since the attendants usually live in the house itself.
The disadvantages are that there will be very few days off, and you will have to work from early morning until late at night.
High pay options
Of course, if you are a highly qualified specialist in a demanded field, the salary will be many times higher. Professional engineers, workers in mechanical engineering, power engineering and agricultural employment are in great demand. In this case, the salary starts from 5,000 euros per month. Moreover, not only experienced professionals, but also young specialists will be able to get a job here. The IT sphere is gaining momentum everywhere, so the problem of finding good specialists in computer technology and informatics is quite acute. Their services are highly valued: the average salary, for example, of a programmer is from 4500 euros per month.
Europe is in dire need of economists and lawyers. In Russia, almost every second graduate of the corresponding faculties, and in the West, training in these specialties costs fabulous money, so there are very few professionals. For migrants with confirmed diplomas, this is a great chance to get a job with a salary of 6,500 euros per month for an economist and up to 10,000 euros for a lawyer.
The profession of a veterinarian in Russia is quite widespread, which cannot be said about Western Europe. But the owners of Western countries love their pets no less than our compatriots. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to find a good veterinarian for a pet, and if there is one, then he is provided with a constant clientele, bringing a high income. Qualified veterinarians can earn no worse than lawyers - 9-10 thousand euros per month. Newcomers here also get good money - up to 4 thousand euros per month.
Features of choice
There is work for Russian migrants in Europe, but only on condition that they have an open work visa. In any other case, you cannot legally work on the territory of another country. Of course, there are daredevils who illegally remain in Europe, carry out labor activities there, but this is illegal and threatens with a large fine and deportation if found. As a rule, the employer helps to obtain a work visa and sends an invitation. This is the most reliable way to travel abroad to work. Otherwise, finding a job will not be so easy: migrants come not only from Russia, but also from other countries. When interviewing a candidate for a vacancy, a future employer assesses knowledge of the language, mentality, the ability to quickly enter the team and show their skills.
Diplomas of Russian universities are not quoted in Europe, so they will have to be confirmed - to pass additional tests, which will increase the chances of getting a position. It is compulsory to pass language proficiency tests for all migrants, not only oral, but also written. Indeed, in addition to communicating with clients, you will have to work with documents and computer programs. If you have a specialized education and ability to study languages, choose a profession according to your specialty, but keep in mind that at first you will most likely have to work on a portfolio without any special claims to high earnings. If there is no education, but you have good health and the ability to work with your hands and head, you can go to work as a laborer on a construction site or in one of the public services.
Whoever you find a job in Europe, remember that hard work, dedication and responsibility are valued there.
