After registering a marriage, two loving people become husband and wife. From that moment on, these people have certain rights provided for by law. To register a marriage, a special ceremony is not required - it is very important that the newlyweds receive a marriage certificate in their hands. In recent years, young people prefer not to hold the ceremonial part. In their opinion, it is better to spend money on some useful business than to spend on a wedding celebration.

How is a simple registration different from a solemn one?

Of course, there are a number of characteristic differences between the formal registration and the simplified one. The main advantages of a non-ceremonial ceremony are:

  • minimum costs: you only need to pay the state fee;
  • very fast: a non-formal ceremony will take about 15 minutes;
  • it becomes possible to postpone the dates of the future celebration to a certain day, when it will be possible to simply organize an off-site registration (for example, in nature), order a banquet in a good restaurant, or simply go on an exciting journey;
  • the difference lies in the absence of special regulations regarding the appearance: it is not required to have various accessories, it is allowed to carry out a wedding without rings;
  • there will be no need to think about where to stay if the check-in takes place in another city;
  • lack of traditional pre-wedding fuss.

    With all its advantages, a non-ceremonial ceremony has several disadvantages:

    • such a procedure deprives the feeling of touching the moment, looks formal and uninteresting;
    • elderly relatives believe that the wedding ceremony should be held according to all the rules - they are very negative about non-ceremonial registration;
    • some acquaintances may condemn the newlyweds for the lack of a beautiful holiday;
    • there will be no gifts, congratulations, or cute traditions, however, the celebration can be held later with close relatives and friends, observing traditional customs.

    But if the newlyweds believe that the painting should be surrounded by a festive entourage, beautiful music sounded, and the registry office staff congratulated the young people from the bottom of their hearts, it is better to hold a solemn wedding.

    How is it going in the registry office?

    Newlyweds are required to provide a package of relevant documents for regular registration. Non-festive painting requires full compliance with the law. At the same time, all the formalities associated with long-term traditions are absent.

    However, newlyweds can order photography, which is provided by the registry office itself. Usually the cost of a photographer's work does not exceed 300 rubles. Some registry offices prohibit having their own photographer at the ceremony. To avoid an unpleasant situation, this point must be clarified in advance.

    To unceremoniously sign, you must pay the state fee. Its cost is similar to the cost of a ceremonial painting.

    The application is allowed to be submitted in any locality, regardless of the valid registration. A form of a certain form can be taken from the registry office employees. Today it is possible to download it from the site, print it and fill it out at home.

    Both parties sign the application in the presence of an employee of the institution. It is mandatory to indicate which surname the spouses will subsequently use.

    What days is it carried out?

    Arriving at the registry office, choosing registration without a celebration, usually all newlyweds ask the question, for what period of time before the painting must be submitted an application. Russian law sets the deadline for non-ceremonial registration at one month. In other words, having submitted an application, the newlyweds will have to wait 30 days.

    In case of current circumstances, it is allowed to increase the waiting time, but not more than 2 months. Sometimes there are valid reasons requiring a reduction in the waiting time for non-formal registration:

    • pregnancy;
    • birth of a child;
    • serious illness;
    • long business trip.

    In order for the above reasons to be taken into account, the newlyweds must provide the relevant documents. Registration can take place on any day set by the registry office. Non-ceremonial painting is considered completely legal, similar to a solemn wedding.

    Unfortunately, not everyone can boast of a stable financial situation, so young people tend to marry non-ceremonially. Purely formally, the painting does not differ from the solemn ceremony.

    How do I apply?

    To register a relationship, each couple must submit an application. In the wedding palace, the young will be given a special form, which contains all the necessary data. In addition to the completed application, you must provide several additional documents:

    • passport;
    • a certificate of dissolution of a previously concluded marriage (if any);
    • minors are required to provide permission from their parents;
    • if one of the spouses is a foreign citizen, he must submit a document confirming the absence of a previously registered marriage in another country;
    • receipt of payment of state duty - 350 rubles.

    When submitting an application, the newlyweds are obliged to inform the registry office employees about the registration in a non-festive atmosphere.

    Today it is allowed to submit such an application using the State Services portal (https: // www. Gosuslugi. Ru).To use this service, applicants must be of legal age and reside in Russia. After registration, you need to follow a few steps:

    • select the appropriate region;
    • city where registration will take place;
    • choose the appropriate Wedding Palace;
    • book a date;
    • indicate the time of visit;
    • choose the type of registration: solemn or non-ceremonial;
    • fill out an application, which indicates the full name, place of residence, passport data, future surname.

    The application is allowed to be submitted six months before the registration.

    Only the data of one newlywed is entered into the application form on the portal. The personal data of the other will be automatically entered into the application according to the name of the registered user.

    The completed application is sent to the registry office for consideration and a decision. The status of the application can be viewed in your personal account.

    What to wear?

    To register without a celebration, the question usually arises, in what clothes to go to the registry office. The problem is easily solved - you can wear any outfit. The only condition is that the costume or dress must correspond to the moment. Getting married does not require a black tuxedo or a fluffy white dress with a veil. You can opt out of these attributes.

    The style of dress may be the same with the future husband. For a girl during pregnancy, you can advise to wear a spacious white sundress. It will fully comply with established traditions.

    For painting in a casual setting, no special appearance is required. For example, some come to the palace wearing T-shirts or T-shirts with the words "Husband", "Wife". Casual clothes look quite creative. The bride has a flirty veil on her head, and the groom is wearing a white shirt and jeans.

    If you are planning a photo session after painting, then the appearance matters. Therefore, clothes need to be selected more carefully. A cocktail dress of any color and length is suitable for the bride. A non-standard outfit can be called a trouser suit or a skirt with a blouse.

    A good hairdo will look great. You can choose any makeup, it all depends on preferences. If you are planning an outdoor celebration (for example, a restaurant), you can put on a formal dress and have a beautiful hairdo. If none of this happens, a regular ponytail on the head will do.

    The husband-to-be can come in a formal formal suit or any informal attire. A set consisting of a beautiful shirt, well-ironed trousers looks great. As an addition, you can wear a tie, vest, spectacular suspenders. The jacket and jeans look quite fashionable.

    Are rings needed?

      I must say that according to current legislation, newlyweds can do without rings. In other words, it all depends on their desire. You can, of course, exchange rings, but often there is simply not enough time for this. This ritual can be performed later, for example, leaving the office. If an evening banquet is planned in a restaurant, then the exchange of rings can be carried out there. It will look interesting and presentable, and the ancient tradition will be respected.

      Modern youth, entering into marriage, do not strive to observe all the customs that have developed over the centuries. However, the exchange of rings remains a must. No celebration takes place without it. After submitting the application, the prospective spouses choose rings in a jewelry store. They pay attention to their appearance, size, weight. Someone prefers a classic engagement ring, while someone chooses with a pattern or an expensive stone.

      Summing up all of the above, we can conclude: non-ceremonial registration will require small financial costs, but it will look less solemn. All other ceremonies are the same.
