Despite the fact that it is most reasonable to remove false eyelashes in a beauty parlor, many girls try to carry out this procedure on their own. In order for the result to be satisfactory, this must be done according to the instructions and in compliance with all precautions.

Precautionary measures

Although you can remove false eyelashes yourself at home, it is recommended that you consult a professional for the first time with this one. But if you still plan to remove the false hairs yourself, you must follow a number of important rules. Before removing the eyelashes at home, it is imperative to treat the root zone with some fatty agent - working "dry" often leads to the loss of your own eyelashes.

Nevertheless, you should absolutely not use household solvents for this - this will definitely lead to burns of the mucous membrane of the eye. The use of "Albucid" is prohibited if you are allergic to any of the components present.

Care must also be taken when setting up a steam bath, which often leads to burns. Experts do not recommend using removers from little-known companies.... When removing hairs directly, it is best not to use sharp objects such as needles, pins or toothpicks. You should not try to wash off the glue with regular soap or makeup, since such products are not capable of dissolving the glue substance, but they contribute to the occurrence of allergic reactions. It is pointless to try to wash off the glue with hot water - it will not cope with the task, but it will lead to a burn of the mucous membrane.

Before starting work hands are necessarily washed and make-up removal is carried out. Using a new drug, you should first test for an allergic reaction by applying the substance to the bend of the elbow or earlobe.

For owners of sensitive skin, it is better to immediately turn to the safest oils or fatty creams. If the product gets into the eye, then the latter should be immediately rinsed with clean water.

Options for special removers

From professional means for removing false eyelashes, you can use a debonder and a remover directly. Debonder is a liquid that dissolves the glue. The Debonder contains both natural ingredients and components of synthetic origin, for example, acetone, so it is better to entrust its use to a specialist. You can purchase such drugs only from trusted manufacturers, trying to choose an instance with the maximum presence of natural components in the composition.

When buying, it would be nice to evaluate the aroma - if acetone is clearly traced in it, then it is better not to take such a remedy.

Removers work the same way as debonders, but are sold as creams and gels... As a rule, the remover contains no substances that cause allergies. However, some experts advise against purchasing a gel remover for owners of sensitive skin, as its effect can be quite aggressive. The greatest safety is provided by creamy substances, in addition, it is believed that the thicker the substance, the better. The cream remover is odorless and does not emit fumes.

Alternative remedies

Common substances found in almost every home can also help get rid of false eyelashes.

Butter

Castor oil does an excellent job of removing hair extensions. This product is absolutely safe, therefore, do not worry about possible discomfort or even allergic reactions. The oil will allow you not only to remove false eyelashes, but also to nourish your own with useful elements. In addition to castor oil, the use of burdock, coconut, peach, almond or regular vegetable oil is encouraged.

To use this remover it is better to take a half of a cotton pad, in the middle of which a small depression is created, transforming a semicircle into a "crescent". Next, the pancake is applied to the lower eyelid to protect the skin from the oily substance. The line of growth of cilia should be oiled using a cotton swab. Direct removal of false eyelashes is possible only after 30 minutes, and they should be pulled very carefully.

If the cilia do not come off well, then the oiling procedure should be repeated.

There is another, simpler method for removing false eyelashes. using oils. To do this, the selected substance is simply poured into the palm of your hand, and then distributed over the eyelids, as if wiping them. Then the face is rinsed with warm water, the root zone is oiled with a cotton swab, and the artificial hairs themselves are removed with tweezers or just fingers. Movement should go from the inner corner of the eye to the outer, regardless of the type of false hairs. Having cleared the eyelids from glue residues, it is necessary to wipe the eyelids with oil again, after which you can already carry out the usual washing with gel or foam.

Fat cream

A regular oily cream should also help with the removal of false eyelashes. Like using oil, this method is simple and budget, since this tool is usually present in any home, and it is inexpensive. Before starting the procedure, it is recommended to steam the face by sitting over a bowl of hot water or a freshly prepared herbal decoction. The root zone of the eyelashes is generously smeared with a thick cream and left for about half an hour. After the above period, artificial hairs are removed with tweezers. If necessary, the cream can be reapplied and wait another 30 minutes.

Experts recommend choosing products of the Nivea brand, produced in cans, baby cream, Bepanten or Tik-Tak - that is, oil-based products that can dissolve the glue substance.

In principle, you can apply the cream and additionally protect the skin. with half a cotton pad or even patches. You can also cleanse your eyelids with a suitable toner before starting the procedure. It will be convenient to separate your own eyelashes from artificial ones if you use a cotton swab or a washed brush to apply cosmetics. At the end of the eyelids must be cleaned with a special tool to eliminate the remnants of the adhesive substance.

Albucid

Some women use a 20% solution of "Albucid" to remove false eyelashes - a drug that has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. The components that make up this product allow you to dissolve the adhesive substance used to fix artificial hairs. A cotton swab is dipped into the solution, after which it is used to lubricate the root zone of the cilia. Important, to keep the hairs constantly moist, so when the eyelid dries up, it will need to be moistened again. After about a third of an hour, you can try to separate the artificial hairs.

It is important to understand that the peculiarity of the drug can lead to burning and discomfort in the eyes. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to use it if there are contraindications, which can be found in the instructions.

Steam

The organization of a steam bath will not only allow you to remove false eyelashes, but also, subject to the use of a decoction of medicinal herbs, to carry out a procedure that is beneficial to the skin. The process begins necessarily with make-up removal. A deep container filled with hot water or broth is installed on a reliable horizontal surface. It will be necessary to comfortably bend over it, and then cover with a towel or blanket. After spending 15 minutes in an impromptu bath, you can take cotton pads, soak them with castor oil and place them on the upper eyelids.

After another 10 minutes, you can proceed to the direct removal of hairs using tweezers. The procedure ends with cleansing the eyelids and applying a moisturizer on them.

It should be added that when visiting a regular bath or sauna, which means that with prolonged exposure to wet steam, the false eyelashes will disappear by themselves - no additional action is required.

How to shoot correctly?

Regardless of the chosen product, false eyelashes are removed according to the same scheme.

Preparation

At the preparatory stage, all cosmetics are thoroughly removed from the face. Next, a "crescent" is cut out of the half of the cotton pad, after which it is fixed under the lower eyelid along the hairline. A more convenient solution is to use patches.

The main stage

The eye is closed and the eyelid is gently pulled back from the outer corner. Using a cotton swab, the root zone is treated with the selected agent. After waiting for the time specified in the instructions, you can proceed to the mechanical elimination of hairs using tweezers.

If the eyelashes do not come off well, then the procedure can be repeated.

Completion of the procedure

At the end of the procedure, the remnants of the glue are removed mechanically, and the eyes must be washed. If, after removing artificial hairs, your own cilia seem dull and weakened, it will be possible to return them to their previous appearance quite quickly with the help of home procedures.

Having prepared green tea or a decoction of calendula leaves and cornflowers, a cotton pad must be dipped into the resulting liquid. The well-soaked cotton swab is then applied to the eyes for about a quarter of an hour. Regular oiling of eyelashes with castor or olive oil with the addition of liquid vitamin A will also help.

It is recommended to apply the substance for 10-20 minutes using a cosmetic brush.

Professional advice

Despite the fact that some manufacturers claim that it is possible to remove false eyelashes without additional measures, simply by pulling the tip, professionals still recommend soaking the glue substance, and then removing the decor. This will prevent injury to the sensitive skin of the eyelids and own eyelashes. If reusable pads are used, remove them carefully, without using sharp objects. The removed decor is washed in warm clean water or micellar liquid, after which it is dried and stored in a special case.
