Luxurious long and thick eyelashes have always been the subject of female pride, adoration and envy. And today, modern cosmetology with the help of the extension procedure is able to help girls make their dreams of a lush eye frame a reality. Many different execution techniques have appeared, but the most demanded service is the natural effect of eyelash extension.

Peculiarities

The essence of the procedure consists in attaching artificial hairs of the desired characteristics (curvature, thickness, length) to the client's real eyelashes. Joining takes place using a special adhesive.

The procedure is performed by lashmakers, cosmetologists, and makeup artists. A good specialist will select the correct extension method and create the desired image, taking into account the wishes of the client and the peculiarities of the structure of the face. A high level of skill allows you to build eyelashes so high quality that they look not only beautiful, but also absolutely natural to those around you.

There are different execution techniques, but the most popular and classic way is eyelash extension with a natural effect. Its essence lies in the selection of hairs that are not very different from natural ones.

Their task is not to radically change the appearance of eyelashes, but only to improve it and emphasize the natural beauty of the eyes.

Such a build-up is called in another way classic. The secret is that natural human eyelashes differ in their length, as they grow unevenly. For this reason, different hairs are used here for greater naturalness.

The shorter bristles are glued to the inner corner of the eye and the outer edge, while the longer material is attached towards the middle. The result is as natural as possible. It looks beautiful at any age, especially on girls of light color type.

True, there are some contraindications to this cosmetic procedure. It:

  • colds and inflammation;
  • tendency to conjunctivitis;
  • allergy to the material used, primer or glue;
  • oily skin of the face.

The desired result depends on many factors, but the most important thing is what materials are used in the work.

  • Silk. These are the thinnest and softest eyelashes, as close as possible to natural ones. Does not weigh down the eyelids. They have a thickness of 0.07 to 0.14 mm. Ideal for creating a natural look.
  • Synthetics. Shiny hairs made of hypoallergenic polymer fiber with a choice of colors.
  • Sable... Elastic and coarse bristles with shine. They have a thickness of 0.21 to 0.3 mm. They look pretty beautiful, but they are weaker than others for centuries. Do not break or bend.
  • Mink. These are quite thick and dense hairs of deep black color, have a thickness of 0.15-0.2 mm. They are used to create the effect of painted eyes. An ideal find for an evening look.
  • Columns. Bristles with average characteristics, but not in great demand among women.

In classic extensions, fibers up to 10-12 mm long for the outer edge and 5-6 mm for the inner corner of the eye are used. Sometimes, to add brightness and volume to the eyelashes, short bristles are used along the eyelid line. And the thickness of the villi in this method is preferably from 0.07 to 0.15 mm.

The eyelashes are glued with hypoallergenic glue. The most popular options are black and colorless. Dark glue is used for an eyeliner effect, and light glue for a more natural look. Brown is used a little less often. There are other shades as well. Many girls like two-tone lashes - black at the base and colored at the tips.

The bend is selected depending on the curvature of the native eyelashes. To obtain a natural effect, models J, B and C are most often chosen. But there are other forms: CC - with an emphasis on density, D - to achieve a puppet effect, L - contribute to the visual lifting of the eyelids with the problem of deep-set eyes.

The essence of this method is the ciliary attachment of artificial bristles. Depending on the desired result, it can be of the following types.

  • Complete... This is the gluing of hairs along the entire length of eyelash growth. The angle of inclination, size and color of natural vegetation are copied. The length of the eyelashes increases significantly, but the artificiality is not noticeable to prying eyes.
  • Sparse. Here, the attachment of hairs does not occur over the entire surface, but only on separate segments. This method is suitable if the client's native eyelashes are long enough, but they lack fluffiness.

In general, in addition to the natural build-up effect, there are also other types.

  • Puppet... It is characterized by a uniform length of bristles throughout the entire growth surface of the eyelashes.
  • Fox... With visual extension of the eye section in the horizontal plane.
  • Squirrel. The emphasis is on the middle of the outer third of the century.
  • Feline. The length of the material used is increasing.
  • Painted eyes. This technique involves using long and thick hairs.

And also there are effects "rays", "mermaid", "butterfly wings". And even Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. All these images can be obtained using various methods of building up.

Extension scheme

Each lashmaker extends eyelashes in his own way. But basically all specialists adhere to the principle of frame technology... Its essence lies in the fact that one bristle is glued to one native eyelash.

The master begins his work with an assessment of the condition of real eyelashes, the structure of the eyes and the characteristics of the skin. He must also take into account the wishes of the client himself and, depending on all this, choose the desired method of execution and the materials used.

The necessary steps at the entry-level are disinfection of hands, preparation of tools and consumables. These are the hairs themselves for the procedure, glue (transparent or black) and a container for it, a degreaser, tweezers (curved), cotton pads, toothpicks, applicators for removing excess glue.

The use of glasses with magnifying glasses greatly facilitates the work of a specialist.

The growth process algorithm consists of the following steps.

  1. You should cleanse your face from makeup. The skin of the eyelids must be treated with a cleansing compound. And also run a cotton swab with a degreaser applied to it along the lash line.
  2. A patch, paper tape, or silicone applicator must be placed on the lower eyelid. The center and direction of gluing are conveniently indicated on it. And also on the patch it is much easier to work with the upper eyelashes, following the indicated extension scheme.
  3. Prepare the glue in a glass or plastic container.
  4. Gently comb natural eyelashes in the desired direction.
  5. Take an artificial hair with tweezers, lower it halfway into the glue and connect it to the native eyelash, retreating from the root 0.5-1 mm.
  6. Repeat this manipulation with all eyelashes, avoiding sticking to each other. Weighting on the eyelids should not be allowed.
  7. At the end of the procedure, apply a protective cream and gently comb the new lashes.

For convenience the entire surface of the eyelashes is divided into sectors. Hair of a certain length is glued to each section. The lashmaker starts work from the inner corner of the eye, then moves to the outer part, and at the end fills in the remaining middle. The longest eyelashes are glued there. That is, the emphasis falls on a point slightly shifted from the center towards the outer edge of the eye.

To prevent eyelashes from looking disheveled and sloppy, they must be in the same direction. One length of hairs must blend smoothly into another. One eye can be extended from 60 to 120 eyelashes.

Each bristle must be glued separately, adhering to the pattern and direction. The length of artificial hairs is increased or shortened in strict proportion to natural hairs. To give a more natural effect, the main parameters of the bristles (thickness, color) should not differ much from natural data.

The duration of the session depends on the extension technique, the professionalism of the lashmaker and the condition of the native eyelashes. Usually, with the classic method, this takes from 1.5 to 3 hours. If the technology is violated, there is a risk of growing artificial hairs inaccurately, and they may soon fall off. The quality of the extension should not suffer at the high speed of the master.

During the procedure, it is imperative to monitor the condition of the eyes. They must be tightly closed so that neither the glue nor its vapors get onto the mucous membrane. Otherwise, the session must be urgently suspended.

Advantages and disadvantages

Build-up with a natural effect has a number of advantages:

  • natural and well-groomed appearance;
  • no harm to health;
  • the ability to do without makeup - this will be especially appreciated by girls who sometimes do not have enough time to put themselves in order in the morning;
  • no discomfort when wearing - this technique uses the lightest eyelashes;
  • the ability to visually change the shape of the eyes;
  • minimal damage to native eyelashes;
  • combination with any shape of the face and eyes;
  • long duration of wearing eyelashes.

And the most important advantage of the procedure is that it is suitable for women of any age, regardless of profession and lifestyle.

There are also disadvantages that are more related to the individual perception of a person than to the quality of the materials used or the level of professionalism of a specialist. It:

  • the possibility of developing allergies (to hairs, glue, primer);
  • loss of individual artificial eyelashes;
  • negative reaction of the body (redness, burning, itching);
  • a negative effect on natural eyelashes (artificial hairs, despite their lightness, create a load on relatives, and they become brittle).

Who is it for?

This option is considered universal. Its purpose is maximum naturalness. Before starting work, the master assesses the shape of the eyes, eyelids, face, the state of natural eyelashes, the color type of appearance and discusses the future result with the client. The method allows:

  • create an open and relaxed look, which is especially suitable for women of mature age;
  • visually correct the shape of the eyes;
  • mitigate the imperfections of natural vegetation - this is important for owners of light and rare eyelashes, because after the session they will become longer, and the desired volume will appear.

The problem of closely spaced eyes will help to solve the technique with thickening of the hairs on the outer edges. And with far-set eyes, emphasis should be placed on the inner corners of the eyes.

Curled long eyelashes with thickening at the outer edge will help to visually raise the drooping eyelids. Asian women sometimes strive to create a round shape. This will help them "cat" or "puppet" effect.

The most advantageous classic looks on the owners of the correct facial features. But it should be remembered that with pronounced asymmetry, it is better to avoid eyelash extensions altogether. They will only draw particular attention to the problem.

How long do eyelashes last?

With proper adherence to the extension technology, artificial eyelashes should last 1-2 months... But not everything depends on the level of professionalism of the specialist, the choice of the execution technique and the quality of the materials used. The duration of the effect is influenced by:

  • adherence to tips for the care of eyelashes;
  • Lifestyle;
  • health status;
  • hair growth rate.

Care rules

Enjoy luxurious eyelashes for as long as possible, if you adhere to simple recommendations for caring for them.

  • For three hours after the end of the procedure, it is forbidden to allow water to enter the eyelashes. The glue should have time to harden well.
  • Even after this time, the face should be washed carefully, without mechanical effect on the eyes. Gentle and delicate movements.
  • Avoid oil and alcohol based products on artificial hairs. They destroy the glue base.
  • Decorative cosmetics can be used freely, but the mascara must be water-based. It rinses off more easily and does not stick the bristles together.
  • It is better to remove makeup with tonics or other water-based products.
  • It should be remembered that baths and saunas have a negative effect on the condition of eyelash extensions.
  • It is forbidden to sleep on the stomach, the hairs are so injured. Only on the side or on the back.
  • Try not to touch your eyes with your hands unnecessarily.
  • Do not use eyelash curlers. They can break down artificial hairs at the base.
  • Every day on artificial hairs should be gently carried out with a special brush.
  • In order to remove eyelash extensions, you need to see a specialist. He will remove them with a special paste that does not injure natural vegetation. You cannot do this on your own.
  • It is necessary to carry out the correction in a timely manner, such an operation takes much less time.

Give your eyelashes a break from the procedure every six months.
