Winter boots with heels
Even in a cold and harsh winter, many girls want to stay beautiful and not bury themselves in a hundred clothes.
This principle also applies to shoes. To draw attention to the legs, but at the same time not freeze and fall on the first ice surface that comes across, many people prefer high-heeled boots. It is the heel that helps to visually lengthen the legs, while not depriving the shoes of practicality and convenience.
Fashion Models
Heels are a favorite shoe attribute for many girls.
Often, for some of them, wearing flat-soled boots is simply uncomfortable and uncomfortable. Winter with its ice is not a reason to give up heels. Designers of many brands have tried to present as many of these models as possible that will please everyone.
When talking about winter shoes, the first thing to consider is a thick, stable heel. It allows you to feel confident on the surface, and the special outsole minimizes the risk of slipping and falling. In length, such a heel can be either medium or high. As for the shape, then most often it is rectangular, in a column. Massive models are in fashion, so do not write off the thick heels that can be found in the collections of Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Haider Ackermann.
Another reliable and comfortable option, which, however, does not deprive the boots of some lift, is the low square heel. It, like stable, minimizes the possibility of falling and provides almost complete grip. In addition, the low square and thick stable is ideal for owners of plump legs. It is this heel that is most often found on most stylized dutik boots.
But among the girls there are daredevils who cannot imagine life without their favorite hairpins.
There are not so many such winter boots, since the stiletto heel is not as stable as a thick "column", but for a dry warm winter there are always several worthy options. In addition, the hairpin is loved by many brands such as Ralph Lauren, Altuzarra, Burberry Prorsum. A thin heel is available in several lengths - medium and high, but with extra centimeters, you should be careful on an icy surface. It is in fashion to combine a stiletto heel with a high length of the boots themselves and lacing.
Any medium to high heel can be easily paired with the platform, making the shoe taller, but more comfortable due to the acceptable lift. The trend is visual massiveness, so a pair of boots with a high, stable heel and an equally high platform can be an excellent purchase.
A separate trendy direction of the season is unusual heels.
Among them are transparent options, "hidden", merging with the main part in material and texture, richly decorated and in every possible way stand out with the help of color. Some heels even take on strange shapes, for example, slightly curved, ornate, pot-bellied. There are boots with a heel offset from the heel towards the middle of the foot.
Fashion trends of the season affect not only the shape and height of heels, but also shoe models in general.
This year, special attention is paid to over the knee boots, which, although they do not go out of relevance, have nevertheless lost their mass popularity for some time. High boots that cover the knees are made from different materials, but most of all the bias is towards suede. The boots are decorated with leather imitating the texture of reptiles and fur inserts.
Another stylish option is the most form-fitting and tall stocking boots.
Excessively tall models are in fashion, which sometimes hide under the hem of a short skirt. Despite the fact that such shoes attract attention by their design alone, it is also customary to make them as bright as possible in colors and decor, for example, with lacing along the entire height. Interesting models of dutikers with heels, most often low or medium, have become relevant. They look unusual because of the resulting shape, but at the same time beautifully and certainly in such boots one should not be afraid of even the worst weather. As always, dutik are made bright, colorful, often with geometric or floral prints. Most often they are combined with leather.
The standard knee length is certainly not losing its leading position. But besides them, low ankle boots remain in fashion, for example, classic, under the "Cossacks", cowboy models.
Among the style, several prevail at once: classic and minimalism in jewelry; military men with rough shapes, rivets, chains, lacing; romantic, done in pastel shades, adorned with lovely shiny details. Among the trendy colors are coral, cherry, burgundy, metallic, and, of course, monochrome classics.
Length
It is generally accepted that boots are shoes that reach mid-calf or knee height.
Indeed, such a height is the most common, because it allows you to keep your feet warm, wear skirts and dresses even in winter, and protects against snow or moisture. Of course, this length assumes in most cases the presence of a zipper.
In pursuit of fashion, designers of shoe companies produce short models of boots, a couple of centimeters high above the ankle.
Of course, you shouldn't walk through the snowdrifts in such shoes, since the snow will immediately fall on the foot, but they look no less worthy than tall models. In addition, such boots insulate no worse, so if the weather permits, then you can not be afraid to freeze even with a short length.
In contrast to the shortened models, there are long ones. Treads and stocking boots with a length above the knee, or even even reaching the hips. They look impressive, so they are not suitable for every situation.
Material
Most of all, it is leather, natural or artificial, that is used in production, because it not only looks beautiful, but also holds its shape, does not allow moisture to pass through, and allows other materials to be used in combination with itself.
In texture, the trend is smooth leather, patent leather, and also processed in such a way that it imitates reptiles, for example, a crocodile, a snake. The suede material is also leather, although it has a separate name. It is soft and velvety, but requires gentle maintenance and is not suitable for wet winters.
Since we are talking about winter shoes that are constantly exposed to snow and moisture, the woven material is used quite rarely.
The dutik boots, which have returned their popularity among the adult population, are sewn from waterproof textiles, very often they are combined with leather. Some models of boots imitate the appearance of felt boots, so wool is used for them. The combination of several materials is one of the main trends of the season, therefore, in addition to textiles and wool, you can find velor, yarn, nylon on some part of the boots. Fur and velor are used as insulation and sometimes decorative elements.
Colour
The most versatile color for winter boots is the dark range - black, gray, brown, blue, burgundy shades.
They are the most classic, easily combined with both a down jacket and a fur coat. White and beige are also traditional colors, although they are much more rare than dark ones. This is due not to the unpopularity of colors, but only to the practical side of the issue - in a slushy winter, light-colored shoes will instantly become covered with dirty spots.
Of course, there are many women among women who like to create vivid images, including with the help of boots. Winter is already a faded season, so designers delight women of fashion with bright colors: coral, emerald, red, orange, especially fashionable "metallic". Especially often motley boots are made of patent leather or waterproof textiles, but suede models are predominantly pastel shades: light blue, cream, pink.
How to choose?
When choosing boots with heels, you should correctly assess your capabilities.
Fifteen centimeters look very attractive, but not everyone will be able to walk in such shoes for most of the day. In general, it is not recommended to wear high-heeled shoes for more than four hours. The most optimal height is seven or eight centimeters.
Buying shoes is advised to do after lunch, when the leg has time to get tired and a little swollen.
Of course, you cannot ignore the fact that the couple you like is pressing or dangling on the foot, that is, it is only worth choosing the right size, otherwise you can harm your legs. In addition, when choosing winter boots, it is worth considering what they will be worn over - thin tights or thick woolen socks. Attention should also be paid to how the boots are made: whether the sole, accessories, decorative elements are properly attached.
Ankle boots are suitable for owners of any shape and height, since they do not "take away" centimeters and, on the contrary, are able to give them with the help of the heel height.
Knee-high boots are suitable for girls of average height, visually lengthening their legs, and high, but it is better to choose low shoes a little lower. Treads and stocking boots, although desirable by almost everyone, are really only suitable for tall girls, since on short ladies they will simply destroy all visual proportions.
The thicker the heel, the denser the leg.
A thin stiletto heel suits thin legs, but a massive thick heel visually makes the appearance heavier. But the stable heel suits well the most common medium legs and owners of tight shapes. You should avoid decorative elements in those areas from which you want to divert attention, for example, he thick ankles.
What to wear with?
Winter for many is not a reason to give up skirts and dresses, the more high boots will allow the legs not to freeze.
The longer the skirt, the shorter the height of the shoe should be and the longer at the heel. Best of all, skirts are adjacent to a tight-fitting bootleg, since a wide one can make the lower part of the body visually massive. Short skirts should be worn with boots, but in combination with leggings or thick tights, but stocking boots may well hide under the hem of clothing. Knee high boots can be easily combined with high knit socks, which make the look very feminine and romantic.
Trousers and jeans will have to be selected depending on the height and narrowness of the shoe. They will have to be tucked under high boots, so it is more advisable to choose shortened and tight-fitting models. As for the clothes on top, it all depends on the image and the situation, so you can choose a blouse, a shirt, and a sweater.
Most of the boots will look good with any outerwear, be it parkas, insulated coats, vests, fur coats. It is worth maintaining a balance between the height of the shoe and the length of the hem so as not to turn yourself into a short one. Boots made of suede and smooth leather are great for fur coats and fur vests, and quilts for down jackets.
Stylish looks
In the warm winter, you can afford to wear a coat. The oversized blue model with large lapels is combined with a long warm gray scarf, tight-fitting trousers and high black patent leather boots. The shoe has a pointed toe and a zipper for fastening, and the front is decorated with metal details that simulate lacing. A neat shoulder bag completes the look.
Boots with thick, stable heels (black upper and brown heels) are combined with a short parka with fur. Dark jeans are tucked under the boots, and a large black rectangular shoulder bag matches black leather gloves.
Another option with a parka, this time in blue, but with ankle boots with a short square heel. The height of the shoe allows for light blue cropped jeans. Above is a cropped beige sweater. A khaki backpack was used as a bag.
A short-sleeved fur coat creates a monochrome classic bow together with high leather boots with thin heels. Under a fur coat, a light peach blouse, dark blue tight-fitting jeans. There is a black bag with chains and a black turban hat.
