• Plastic - elastic and high-strength material, characterized by moisture resistance and low cost. But it can lose its saturation and fade, mechanical action leaves scratches on it, in addition, it is of little demand for a room such as a living room.

• Natural wood - an environmentally friendly and durable material, pleasant to the eye due to its natural texture. Disadvantages - with prolonged use, it loses its resistance to ultraviolet light and high humidity. For a family with an average budget, this is an expensive option.

Based on these characteristics, the most popular material remains MDF - wood shavings pressed under high pressure.
