At the end of the wash, you must immediately take them out and hang them wet. Curtains made of veils and organza are smoothed out on their own, but silk and tulle need to be ironed.

• Acrylic and viscose curtains are washed at 40 degrees. It is best to use fabric softener when washing acrylics. Since when exposed to sunlight, these curtains become "hard". They are washed without spinning. You can iron them, but only through the fabric and in the direction the pile is located.

• Linen or cotton curtains are washed at 40 degrees. If the fabric is dyed, set the highest temperature on the machine. These are the only curtains that can be washed not with gel powder, but with a regular one. Iron them when they are wet.

• Polyester curtains are washable at 40 degrees and at the same time delicately... Only under such conditions will they not be much dented and remain in good shape. If ironing is needed, then it should be done with a cloth and in the "silk" mode on the iron.

• Satin options are washable on hand wash... In case of severe contamination, they are additionally soaked, and then sent to the machine.

• Velvet curtains are sewn from silk threads, so they are washed carefully... Since if certain rules are not followed, they may not be the same as they were before washing. Especially if you need to wash velvet curtains. Of course, it is better to take them to dry cleaning, but if this is not possible, then you can wash them at home. Turn them inside out before putting them in the machine.

• The eyelet options are still popular today as they are easy to use.... These curtains are usually sold with a special washing bag. Therefore, they are washed only in a bag. The temperature regime is set at 30 degrees and washed without using a spin.

• Kisei curtains are thread designs. In another way, they are called rope. Now they are as popular as eyelet curtains. They can easily become tangled during washing. Therefore, before they are sent to the washing machine, they are braided or tied with a thread every 20 centimeters. Then they put it in a bag and send it to the washing machine. Washing takes place on a delicate cycle. At the end of the wash, the curtains should be hung on the cornice.

• Tapestry curtains are heavy enough to be difficult to wash, but possible. Most often they are washed with a vacuum cleaner.You can also just walk over them with a damp cloth.

• Blackout curtains are unusual, as they are able to block out not only light, but also provide sound insulation and keep warm. They don't get as dirty as many others. During production, blackout is treated with a special agent that is capable of repelling dust and dirt. Blackout is the best option for a nursery or bedroom. They are the most unpretentious to wash. They can be washed at high temperatures and with high spinning power.

In order to choose the right mode, first study the instructions that come with the curtains. And then they install it on a typewriter. When there are no instructions from the curtain, then on the typewriter they select modes such as delicate or hand wash. It happens that there are no these modes. In this case, just set the minimum temperature and do not spin. If the fabric is thick, then it can be washed at higher degrees.
