Shugaring gloves should be comfortable. They are used to provide comfort during depilation. The duration and effectiveness of the procedure largely depends on the correct choice of gloves.

Hands from the sweet paste will immediately become sticky, making it difficult to apply and evenly distribute.

Whether the client remains satisfied with the work of the master depends on the quality of its implementation. It is most convenient to apply the sugar mass by hand: this approach will allow you to distribute it evenly, spending a minimum of time.

There are several types of gloves that can be used to remove unwanted body vegetation with a sweet paste made from sugar and water. These are the following types:

• nitrile;
• latex;
• vinyl.

Each of these materials has positive and negative characteristics. Before purchasing a particular variety, it is recommended to study all its properties.

Latex products are affordable. Latex is a natural rubber malfunction, it is actively used for the production of medical products. Gloves made of this material are characterized by increased elasticity, they are easy to put on, they immediately take the shape of a limb. Another plus is associated with maintaining high sensitivity, which makes it possible to perform cosmetological manipulations as efficiently as possible.

But latex products also have disadvantages, they are:

• excessive sweating, which causes irritation;
• insufficient strength (break quickly);
• the risk of developing an allergic reaction, which can be caused by proteins contained in rubber or powder.

Sugar paste sticks to their surface, which prevents accurate distribution and increases the time of the procedure. Latex gloves are more suitable for the bandage technique for eliminating unwanted vegetation on the body, when there is no direct interaction with the sticky mass.

Vinyl products are inexpensive, they are made on the basis of polyvinyl chloride. This material has the ability to greatly increase in size without losing its original properties. The pluses of vinyl products include:

• no sweating;
• minimal risk of developing allergies;
• smoothness that makes it convenient to use the strips for hair removal.

The disadvantages of vinyl are:

• not good enough elasticity: such gloves do not fit the palms tightly, which creates discomfort when applying the sugar mass;
• the likelihood of ruptures when performing manipulations involving increased loads.

Vinyl gloves are usually used by employees of beauty salons who perform sweet epilation at the stage of preparing the skin for hair removal.

But if epilation is carried out by hand, then it is undesirable to use vinyl gloves, as they can break.

Nitrile models are made on the basis of synthetic rubber. This material is able to stretch and return to its original shape. Nitrile gloves are a versatile solution, their main advantage is durability. Products of this type do not cause allergic reactions and are difficult to tear or stretch. The material does not lose its original characteristics under the influence of aggressive media.

Textured gloves or models with special additives are available as needed. The presence of texture on the fingertips contributes to a better grip on the instruments. Silk proteins may be present in the base material to prevent hand sweating. Another important plus is associated with increased elasticity. Nitrile products fit the palms well, and there is no squeezing effect.

The main disadvantage of nitrile gloves is the high price. When using such products, there may be a decrease in sensitivity, which is not liked by many shugaring masters.

There is another type of gloves - "liquid". This is a protective film. Such compositions are a silicone gel, which includes several active components. Polydimethylsiloxane molecules upon contact with the skin form a protective membrane invisible to the eye. An artificial barrier prevents chemicals from entering the body.

In the presence of "liquid" protection, the shugaring procedure becomes as comfortable as possible. Although experts say that such gloves cannot be a barrier against various infections. They form a membrane on the surface of the epidermis, but such protection from aggressive environmental influences is considered temporary. The procedure for epilation with sugar paste is best done with real gloves.

It is best to choose nitrile products, since vinyl products tear quickly, and latex products develop allergic reactions. Professional craftsmen use them. This material does not tear or slip, the hands of the beautician are comfortable in them. Latex products are the cheapest, but it is better to overpay and buy nitrile models as they will last much longer.

It is important to choose a suitable size for protective gloves: make sure they fit snugly on your hand and do not cause discomfort. Large-sized products will fall off all the time, you will have to forget about the accuracy and uniformity of applying sugar paste.

Thin products guarantee excellent tactile sensitivity, but they will tear quickly. Cosmetological manipulations are inconvenient to perform in overly tight gloves. For epilation, it is best to use a medium density model that has sufficient elasticity. The optimum weight of gloves is 3-3.5 g. The outer part of the protective products can be smooth or textured. Many cosmetologists prefer the second option, which increases sensitivity.

It is desirable that medical powder be applied to the inside of the product: it will provide easy donning and prevent clumping. But it is important to consider that starch can provoke irritations on the skin surface. Products without powder are made by chlorination: this negatively affects the elasticity, but prevents sticking.
