How to keep a clean kitchen surface?
No matter how hard you try, frying in the pan leaves greasy drops on the stove, countertop and walls. If they are not washed in time, then they dry out, and it becomes much more difficult to eliminate them afterwards. This splash is also hazardous as it can spill onto an exposed area of skin and cause burns.
To avoid the problems listed above, manufacturers have invented a special protective mesh... With such a device, you can easily prepare crispy dishes. The mesh allows steam to pass through without difficulty, trapping fat. In this case, the dish in the pan is really fried, and not stewed.
Such meshes can be metal and silicone. They are not difficult to care for. But after you have finished cooking, while the fat has not yet had time to dry, you must immediately rinse it using any dishwashing detergent. You can also wash the mesh in the dishwasher.

The anti-grease mesh made of aluminum wire is suitable for use on pans of various sizes. To make the net easier to use, it is equipped with a plastic handle that does not heat up when exposed to high temperatures. The surface of the mesh is very durable and does not lend itself to deformation.
The silicone cover works the same way as a regular cover. It is enough just to cover a frying pan or saucepan with it. It has the following characteristics.
- Flexibility and ductility - since it is made of silicone, such a cover can not only be bent in any direction, but also folded in half. These actions will not harm its structure in any way.
- Strength. Do not worry about the shape of the lid if it accidentally slips out of your hands. The silicone cover is incredibly durable.
- Little weight. Such a lid is much more convenient for storage than its counterparts made from other materials.
- Security. Food grade silicone is harmless to human health and does not have an unpleasant odor. Can be used not only for cooking, but also for storing food in the refrigerator.
- Resistant to temperatures. Silicone does not melt when exposed to high temperatures, so this lid can be used for microwave cooking.
- Non-stick properties. Food does not stick to the silicone surface and nothing burns. Even frozen drops can be easily removed.
- One size fits allwhich allows the silicone lid to be used for any kitchen utensil.
Such a cover has two convenient "lugs" that make it easy to install the "device" and, if necessary, remove. For them, you can also hang the lid on a hook so that it is always at hand and dries after washing.
To prevent the silicone from sagging, there are small stiffening ribs inside.
There is also a device called a "security sieve". It is made of silicone, round in shape, with small holes along the entire surface. It has a small handle for ease of use. For all other criteria, it is similar to a silicone mesh.

Basically it has a standard size of 30 cm, which will fit most pans. But there are models with other diameters. You need to use it in the same way as a regular lid.
Of course, such a lid will not protect in those moments when the product needs to be turned over, but the total amount of fat on the kitchen working surface will be several times less. To protect yourself and objects in the kitchen while stirring or turning over the food being prepared, you can use the mesh as a kind of shield, hiding it from splashes.
The cover against greasy splashes makes it not at all necessary to have an apron and saves you from the need to wash the countertop, kettle and other appliances that are close to the stove.
There are also versatile attachments. For example, the cover "Nevykipayka". Such a device has a colorful design, has a round and somewhat bowl-like shape.
There is a pattern of embossed stripes on the inner surface of the lid. In the center there is a removable flower-shaped nozzle. If this nozzle is removed, then it becomes obvious that there is a hole from which steam and foam come out during cooking. Thanks to the bowl shape, no water flows out.
