How to make gum slime?

The easiest way to make a slime is to use two ingredients: water and gum. Consider several well-known and easy recipes for making with the rubber bands already described above.

• In the case of Dirol you will need to take 1 glass of warm water and 1 pack of pads. It is necessary to completely dissolve the product in water, and then knead until a soft, homogeneous consistency. The recipe for slime with "Orbit" is similar to the one described above. On average, it can take up to 10 minutes to completely blend until smooth. The process can be accelerated by boiling the two-part mixture or by grinding the chewing gum with your hands. In case you use automatic rubber bands, you will need 4-5 pieces. They need to be immersed in water for 10 minutes and wait until they soften. Next, the mass must be mixed until smooth. In this case, not much water is needed - only 250 ml.
• Another recipe includes Turbo chewing gum, boiling water and shaving foam. It is necessary to pour 6-7 pieces of chewing gum with 2 cups of boiling water. After softening, knead the resulting mass until smooth. Next, you need to mix 4 teaspoons of shaving foam into a soft and ready mass. All ingredients are mixed until smooth. If during kneading the slime has become too hard, then you can dip it into a glass of boiling water from time to time.

If you have added too much water, then the unnecessary liquid should be drained and the mixture should be left alone for a while. After a few hours, the liquid will be absorbed. It is advisable not to add too much water - this can cause the slime to become moldy in the future.

Dyes are practically unable to completely and evenly change the color of the handgam. This is possible for slimes with a different composition or those where Mentos was used.

Recently, there have been many recipes for making hand gum from improvised means. Here we will describe only the main and most simple ones.

Making a slime with shampoo at home is quite simple. There are only two necessary ingredients - PVA glue and shampoo. It is best to use a thick rather than liquid detergent. The components must be mixed in a 1: 1 ratio.

Another recipe includes PVA glue, baking soda and air freshener. First, the first two ingredients are mixed, then a separate container is sprayed with an air freshener. Later, the final version of the slime is kneaded in it.

Any flour can be used to make slime with flour. You just need to choose the one that will have a fine grind.

To make a toy, you need to take 2 tablespoons of flour and mix them with half a glass of water. Stir the mass until smooth. Next, you need to add a little warm water for a more uniform consistency, and then mix everything well again and put the product in the refrigerator. There it should stand for about half an hour. Such a toy is usually prepared for small children and is edible.

In order to prepare hand gum from sodium tetraborate, you need to mix three drops of this substance with two small bottles of PVA glue.Next, knead the mass with your hands until smooth. If the mixture is not thick enough, then you need to add a couple more drops of sodium tetraborate.

Air plasticine is an analogue of good old plasticine, but with one difference. This material is stored soft in cellophane for up to several days after opening, and completely hardens in air in a few hours.

In order to prepare a slime, you need to soak 3-4 chewing gum pads in hot water for 5 minutes. Next, you need to take out the gum and knead it in your hands until a homogeneous consistency. Now you need to take the same amount of plasticine and mix until smooth with chewing gum. The toy is ready. As noted, after a few days, it will completely dry out and retain the shape that it was given.

It is also worth noting that any slime can be additionally decorated. For decoration, sequins of various sizes, small beads, coloring powders and even small foam can be used. Some also add cake powder to the slimes. Slime can be colored with food dyes and other paints: gouache, watercolors, acrylics and others. It is best to add colorants after the slime is ready and use medical gloves for this. If gloves are not available, then you can grease your hands with ordinary vegetable oil before kneading the mass.

Toys that contain toothpaste, soda, starch have shown themselves not very well. Toys with their content begin to crumble already at the kneading stage. It must be remembered that the expiration date and country of origin of the constituent components can affect the quality of the resulting slime. Unfortunately, this can only be understood through practical experience.

First of all, you need to understand, and also clearly explain to the child that slime is not food, and it is absolutely impossible to even try it. Better yet, track it yourself.

1. It is best to store the hand gum in a separate container, as it “picks up” all the small debris it touches. Small jars or small dishes are perfect for this.
2. It is advisable to use it regularly, otherwise the slime dries up.
3. You need to store the toy in a cool place, but it is undesirable to store it in the refrigerator.
4. It is not uncommon for slimes or slimes to get stuck in the hair. Better to avoid situations like this.
5. In order for the slime to retain its properties, it is sometimes necessary to "feed" it with water.
6. Slimes containing chewing gum should not be left on carpet or furniture. Chewing gum will retain its properties and may not rub off well on some surfaces.
7. Children under 5 years old should play with slimes only under adult supervision.
8. It is best if the process of making the slime is carried out by adults, or if it takes place under their supervision. The child may burn themselves with boiling water or add more ingredients than necessary.
