White slip-on sneakers

If you don't have any special detergents at hand, it doesn't matter - baking soda, lemon juice, white toothpaste / powder, or even shavings of ordinary laundry soap will come in handy. The selected ingredients are applied to the pre-moistened slip-ons with an old toothbrush, and after about a couple of hours they are thoroughly washed off under a stream of warm water.

If your washing machine has a gentle wash without spinning, then you can take a risk and wash the white fabric slip-ons in it. But first, make sure that the sole does not tend to part with the textile upper, otherwise, you will have to carry the shoes after washing for repairs.

Powder or liquid should be chosen with a whitening effect, and for best results it does not hurt to use the pre-soak mode.

You cannot use a hairdryer to dry white slip-ons, you also don’t need to put them on a battery, but leaving them to dry in the sun will not hurt - a dose of ultraviolet radiation will provide your light couple with additional whitening.

Crumpled sheets of light-colored paper can be placed inside to maintain shape, but not newspapers, as they can leave ink prints on wet textiles.
