The flattened cranium is covered with muscles over its entire surface. The animal has a sharp transition between the forehead and nose. A pronounced furrow must necessarily pass between the eyeballs.

The oral cavity is round and wide with a large jaw that is pushed forward. Breed standards allow for undershot bites. In the cheek area there is a small amount of loose skin, which has a dark and rich shade.

The upper surface of the nasal passages is flat and wide, and is black or brown.

A deviation from the standard is pronounced whites and pink eyelids.

The ears are small, close-fitting, slightly tilted back. The auricles are located at the level of the crown, which makes the head even more angular. Animals that have irregularly shaped auricles are discarded at birth.

The massive and neck area has a slight narrowing in the area of the joints with the head, and the developed musculature helps in the fight against opponents. The tail is massive, long and muscular, with movable hocks.

Animals can have both docked and uncropped tails.

Dogs have straight and powerful limbs without pronounced articular areas. Thanks to the powerful and widely spaced fingers, the animal gains additional stability and mobility.

The dog has a short, shiny and coarse coat, which can be of the following shades:

  • black;
  • White;
  • Brown;
  • ginger;

Features of temperament

A thoroughbred Alapakh Bulldog is a loyal, patient and agile animal, which is a reliable helper and friend for the owner. Despite its harsh appearance, the pet is not intended to protect the territory.

He can be used as a bodyguard who will be ready to give his life for the safety of the protected family members.

For persons who spend most of their time at work, it is better to refuse to purchase this breed due to its intolerance to loneliness.

The animal needs constant contact with the owner and all family members.

Long-term stay without communication provokes the development of depression and depression and manifests itself in the following actions:

  • ringing and constant barking, turning into a howl;
  • refusal to eat and water;
  • damage to property;
  • excavation of the earth.

Cynologists recommend paying attention to this breed for families with children who live in disadvantaged areas, where an ordinary walk down the street can be life-threatening.

Parents can safely let their child go for a walk without worrying about his safety.

A loyal, attentive and intelligent pet will not take his eyes off the ward throughout the entire time on the street and, if necessary, will rush to his defense without a preliminary command. Even in the process of an exciting game, the dog remains vigilant and a sense of responsibility for the baby.

Before buying this breed, dog handlers recommend paying attention to the peculiarity of brain development in an animal that develops only up to 5 months, and the ability to perceive new information and learn practically disappears after 7 months.

In the absence of time or knowledge for training a dog, experts recommend seeking help from experienced dog handlers who will help to correct the behavior of the animal. Animals that were not trained at an early age become uncontrollable and aggressive not only towards strangers, but also towards their own owners.

The training process should consist of the following steps:

  • correction of behavior, development of obedience, as well as training to control aggressive character traits;
  • training and learning teams.

Due to the presence of a wayward and aggressive nature, during training, it is strictly forbidden to beat, humiliate and insult an intelligent animal that can even take revenge on its owner.

Conditions for keeping

Sociable and mobile animals have a negative attitude towards small enclosures, keeping on chains and confined spaces.

A friend dog must live in the same territory with the owners and have constant contact with them.

If the pet is still in the aviary, then its area should allow it to move freely, and the owners should constantly communicate with it and devote the maximum amount of time to it.

Animals kept in cages have a cruel character, inappropriate behavior and aggression towards others, including their owners.

If the dog lives in a house or a large apartment, it is advisable to allocate a separate room for it and ensure free movement throughout the entire territory of the living quarters.

To maintain a stable body weight and a developed muscular system, the dog needs not only to be walked twice a day, but also to load it with physical exercises.

Living in uncomfortable conditions can provoke the appearance of wounds, fractures, as well as tearing and stretching of muscles.

What to feed?

For full growth and development, the animal must receive the maximum amount of nutrients.

The pet's diet can consist of both ready-made feed mixtures and natural products.

For this breed, the optimal amount of protein is 80 percent, and carbohydrates - 20 percent. You can give your pet meat, meat offal, trimmings, soft veins, liver and muscle tissue.

To maintain the vitamin and mineral balance, your pet should regularly receive fish, vegetables, cereals and dairy products.

The ban is food from the table, mayonnaise, spices, citrus fruits, instant food, sweet pastries, chocolate and canned food.

The diet of an adult should consist of two meals a day., which must be carried out after a walk.

In the autumn and spring, water procedures are carried out as needed.
