Blue cannot be called a simple tone, it is associated with the elements (water and sky), and, like green, it accompanies a person almost always.

A similar combination in a room solves 2 problems: due to white, the space seems to increase, the second color brings brightness to the room. The union is organic for small bedrooms. White can be used in the decoration of the ceiling, and blue for the walls. Blue in decor and furniture is an overabundance, which can lead to despondency, melancholy.

• Blue + gray - an elegant, light and especially comfortable interior, in which it is easy and cozy. The atmosphere helps to relax, is suitable for decorating different rooms, and the bedroom is among them.

• Blue + yellow - a bold and bright interior. Proportions suggest more blue and less yellow. Cool blue is combined with warm shades of yellow.

If the rest of the walls are white and the bedroom is generally light, the room will have an atmosphere of freshness, pleasant coolness. This is not always a good option for northern bedrooms, but it is a good option for southern rooms.

If you have already designed your own bedroom in blue, but it seems gloomy to you, do not be discouraged - this oversight can be corrected by the competent organization of lighting. It's great if the room has a large window, a balcony - it already partly solves the problem. But since you can't do without lighting in the evening, artificial light must be flawless.

• bed - it can be white or standard brown with snow-white linen and the same bedspread / rug, which will organically fit into the situation;

• soft furniture - a small white sofa or armchair will look cute in a blue and white interior, it is possible to use a brown or beige armchair with a white plush or woolen cape;
• dressing table - the main thing is to arrange it so that sleeping people are not reflected in its mirror.

White furniture is so nice and laconic that you don't want to be limited to a couple of items in the bedroom. But still there should be moderation. If there is an opportunity not to put a closet in the bedroom, use it. Even the most beautiful white wardrobe will weigh down the space.

If you have a classic blue and white bedroom with only blue active on the center accent wall, feel free to introduce a third color into your room design. For example, at the expense of textiles: a blue or aquamarine bedspread on a large bed will look good in such a bedroom. A general white background, a central deep blue wall, white furniture and a textured blue bedspread - all three colors will make friends in such a system.

Sometimes more than three colors appear in the bedroom. Many are afraid of such a tandem, because according to the rules, it is the color triplet that can dominate the room (more colors - less taste). But there are clarifying points in this rule.
