More and more girls choose the "Muscovite" among the many options. Wearing this hairstyle, girls feel more bright, extravagant, confident.
This haircut appeared in the 80s of the last century and gained immense popularity due to the fact that, despite the short length, it looked feminine, since some of the elongated parts could reach shoulder level.
Description
Since its inception, Moskvichka has undergone many stages of change, but even now the masters have where to express their creativity. While this haircut has many variations, there is something that unites them. The features of this haircut are short hair on the back of the head, elongated graduated bangs and asymmetry in shape.
Who can suit?
This haircut has many variations, which makes it suitable for many women.
- With an elongated, rounded and regular oval face. Such a haircut makes the asymmetry less noticeable and allows, due to the bangs, to hide some flaws: a large nose, expressionless eyes, etc.
- With thin and thin or thick and unruly hair. In the first case, such a haircut will reduce the severity of the hair and increase the volume at the roots, even without much styling. In the second case, hair with such a haircut will be easier to style and easier to take care of.
- Any age. Due to the fact that this haircut has many transformations, it can be selected for both a mature woman and a girl.
- Any physique. Thin girls will look more elegant, fashionable, romantic and tidy, while curvy girls will be able to visually remove excess weight, open their necks, which will make their image not so “heavy”.
- Any profession. This haircut is suitable for both the office and the more creative profession. This haircut will look unique for athletes and models, even for a teacher, this haircut will be suitable if you choose the right style and length.
For coarse, unruly, curly hair, this hairstyle is difficult, as it will take a lot of time and tools to style. You should refrain from hairstyles for girls with a protruding chin or very clear cheekbones, because this hairstyle will only emphasize some angularity of the face.
Preparatory stage
Haircut "Muscovite" is difficult to do on your own, as it requires careful and complex study at every stage. This hairstyle requires a trip only to an experienced master. This haircut can be used in conjunction with coloring. Its plus is that it can look beautiful in any color. However, if you are confident in your abilities and can carry out the haircut procedure yourself, or you just want to do it to someone at home, then here is a list of tools that will come in handy:
- classic scissors that are suitable for all types of hair;
- thinning scissors, to create a harmonious shape, without excessively sharp transitions;
- a spray bottle, as the "Muscovite" is done on wet hair, so as not to injure their stem structure;
- to make zoning of hair, you need a comb with a rather thin handle;
- clips to secure the separated hair pieces.
What is the execution technology?
This haircut can only be done on hair that does not reach the shoulders, that is, either medium or short length. When cutting for a short volume of hair, it focuses on the back of the head and crown, and the hair in the temporal zone is cut at an angle (optional). Torn cuts near the face will give a slight negligence and simplicity to the styling. The made oblique bangs should coincide with the main shape at an angle of inclination. Aligned or slightly profiled cuts are present on medium-length hair. A side parting must also be used.
In general, such an image will be elegant and feminine, but if you want boldness, then the bangs can be made elongated and torn.
Instructions for implementation
We make an arcuate parting near the temples, the perimeter of coverage from the back of the head to the ear region on the other side. You should also divide all the hair into sectors: the temporo-occipital and temporo-parietal sectors.
- Separate the rather short, main strand at the temple with a vertical parting, and then cut it off. The length of the strand can be from 3-5 centimeters.
- Slowly and carefully we move to the back of the head, alternately cutting the strands 1 centimeter wide, making edging in order to beautifully highlight the ear.
- We divide the hair on the lower occipital region with a horizontal parting, and then cut it. You need to move from the bottom up (from the lower beginning of the hair to the very crown), each time the length of the strands needs to be increased.
- Take a separate strand at the center of the crown, make it the same length as that of the control curl in the middle of the occipital zone.
- Next, we cut the frontal zone. Moving along the parting, which is parallel to the arcuate, we grab strands 1 centimeter wide.
- Then you need to compare the length, for this we comb the hair to the previously trimmed areas on the temporal and occipital parts of the head, look at the length and equal it at a single level, cutting off the strands with lengthening to the face.
- Work over the entire temporo-parietal area using the strand-by-strand technique.This technique belongs to precision trimming techniques. When it is performed, the desired length of the main strand is determined, located parallel to the others, and all the rest are placed on top of the main strand and cut according to its size. This technique can have different quickdraws. The main strand can be taken from either side. To make all hair the same length, do not pull on the strand.
- Make a straight edging of the temples so that one ear is free, and the other is hidden by strands elongated to the face. Make a semicircular edging on the neck, making the bangs an arch or oblique. This scheme is not very complicated.
- Make the slices thinned. This step is necessary to remove the contrast between the cut strands. Because of the thinning, the strands do not look so sharp, they look more neat. Thinning improves the shape of the hairstyle and helps it gain integrity. Thinning also helps the hair to lose weight and makes it look more voluminous. It is important that the thinning is done neatly and correctly.
Hair care
In order for the haircut to look as impressive as immediately after the procedure, you need to maintain its shape with an additional haircut once every 3-4 weeks. During this time, the hair grows back enough, and so that the hairstyle does not deteriorate, it is better to perform this procedure. It is imperative to use shampoos, balms and masks, choosing them for your hair type. "Moskvichka" looks beautiful with curly hair, so if you want to try this styling option, but you have straight hair, then you need to curl it, having previously used a protective agent.
As already mentioned, this hairstyle looks great with wavy curls, but if you often use a curling iron or iron, you can damage your hair and it will become tough, so the rules written above should not be neglected. Additionally, you can use styling products for styling. If your curls do not hold, and the styling quickly disintegrates, then you can use mousse or foam. The use of wax and gel to highlight specific strands is also gaining popularity.
At the end of the installation, do not forget to fix with varnish.
You can play with styling for such a haircut. Dye your hair, curl it, straighten it and style it with a hairdryer and, if the bangs are long, braid a beautiful braid - of your choice, experiment. Before choosing this haircut for yourself, you need to take into account all the nuances and figure out whether this model is right for you.
Such a haircut has a lot of positive points: it is universal, it will help to correct the appearance, it can be performed in different colors, it is possible to perform it at medium and short length, the hairstyle can always be changed for yourself.
