The field of hairdressing services is regularly updated with various new methods and techniques for working with hair. Today, professional masters can offer clients of beauty salons a newfangled haircut by fire, which causes a lot of controversial opinions regarding its specificity and benefits for hair.

In light of the rapid introduction of new methods of working with hair, it is quite difficult to keep track of the emergence of ultra-modern hairdressing services related to the creation of haircuts. Today in the arsenal of beauty industry professionals there is a haircut by fire. Despite the rather frightening name, this technique does not pose a threat to humans. In addition, the manipulation of curls with the help of fire goes back to antiquity, when there was no question of the existence of scissors.

Today, the significantly modernized fire service has become quite in demand throughout Europe. Gradually, this trend began to spread in the post-Soviet space. The appearance of such a technique in the field of hairdressing services owes a haircut to the Russian stylist Olga Kurbanova, who proposed this cutting option, focusing on the improvement of hair shafts, specifically the ends, as well as making the hairstyle attractive.

According to experts, this haircut option allows not only to make the hair shafts look attractive, but also to make them healthier. The principle of working with an open fire assumes a certain step-by-step algorithm of work, during which the hairdresser will use a specially selected set of tools.These formulations have a revitalizing effect on curls, thanks to their natural composition.

A special feature of cutting is the pre-treatment of hair with a special shampoo on a natural basis. This process is carried out as carefully as possible, since the main task of the master in this case is the uniform treatment of all hair shafts so that unused hairs do not start to stand out in their appearance from the general mass in the future.

The next tool, which is mandatory to treat hair before cutting with fire, will be conditioner. In some salons, instead of this composition, they work with curls using ampoules with certain nutritional components. The choice of this or that product is carried out individually for each client or client.

At the final stage, with special preparatory hair products, the hair shafts will be treated with a special spray. But this hair manipulation does not end there. After all the curls have been processed, a special composition must be applied to their entire length, which should be dried naturally with a terry towel.

This tool is necessary in order to remove caked scales from the ends of the hair shafts.that can adversely affect the appearance of the hairstyle. Then, at the request of the client, the master performs styling, thereby completing the created image.

Despite the fact that such a service has been carried out in beauty salons not so long ago, today it is already possible to single out its positive and negative aspects. The benefits of a fire cut include some positive results after the procedure.

• This effect on the hair allows you to get rid of split ends for a while. After the procedure, the hair shafts will lie one to one, without getting out of the general lines and boundaries of the existing haircut.
• As a result, the hairstyle acquires additional volume and grooming. Hair becomes much thicker.

However, the newfangled hairdressing service is not without some drawbacks.

• The fiery haircut stands out for its high cost.
• The result of the procedure performed will largely depend on the qualifications and professionalism of the master. The absence of any result after the work of the hairdresser will indicate that he made gross mistakes in the hair treatment process or used low-quality care products.

Today, fire cutting is classified into two types of hair rejuvenation procedures, where fire will be involved.

The first type of work, called pyrophoresis, involves sealing the ends of the hair shafts, which were previously fed with various vitamins and proteins contained in the formulations used. Before this procedure, it is recommended to trim and color if necessary. The algorithm for working with hair during pyrophoresis involves preliminary washing of the head with massage. After that, the curls are treated with a special serum. Over time, the product is washed off the hair, and, instead, the strands are treated with a special compound for subsequent safe work with fire. As a rule, it is this product that nourishes the hair shafts with natural substances.

After finishing work with the compositions, the master moistens the tampon with alcohol and sets it on fire. Further, using a clamp or long scissors, the hairdresser will alternately work through each strand, starting from the crown, moving to the ends. You can carry out pyrophoresis no more than once every three months, and immediately after the procedure, refrain from washing your hair for 4 days.

This technique also involves working with fire, however, unlike the first option, the master performs the hair processing in a slightly different way. In this case, the hair is divided into strands, which are twisted into small bundles, under which the master will conduct a flame from a candle. The result of this procedure is the burning of the protruding split ends, due to which the haircut and hair in general becomes smoother and shinier. And also the difference between pyrophoresis and velotherapy is the use of nutrient and restorative compounds in the second case only after the end of work with fire.

There are certain recommendations for carrying out a haircut by fire:

• the procedure will be useful for dull hair, lacking volume;
• exposure to fire is indicated in the presence of a large number of cut hair shafts;
• it will be possible to achieve an attractive appearance on thinned hair;
• restoring the hair structure with a fire cut will be obtained after chemistry or dyeing and discoloration of the curls;
• a haircut for hair that is exposed to frequent styling with the help of hairdryers, irons and hairs is useful.

There are a number of helpful tips, allowing to prolong the effect of the haircut.

The disadvantages of the girl's procedure include a short-term result from a haircut by fire, which can end immediately after the first crumpled head at home.
