Metal strings for classical guitar

Guitar strings made of metal, as a rule, are coated with special protective substances during the production process, which can significantly extend their service life. They are characterized by rigidity and a rather significant tension force due to the characteristics of the metal, at which the strings must produce an acceptable musical sound. It becomes clear that metal strings cannot be put on a classical guitar, although they sound much brighter and louder than nylon strings. The fact is that Classical guitars are structurally not designed to withstand excessive stress on the neck and other parts of their device. Otherwise, not only can the lower tailpiece come off, but other damage to the instrument may also appear: curvature of the neck, cracks on the upper deck, increased abrasion of the fretboard fretboard and general deformation of the body of the instrument.

• Carbon varieties... These guitar strings have a higher level of tightness than standard nylon strings. In addition, carbon fiber products have a smaller diameter. They can boast of excellent wear resistance, and therefore they serve for quite a long time. And also many models have high quality and clear sound. But at the same time, it is worth remembering that the cost of such a set will be much higher than the usual guitar strings.

• Carbon fiber nylon strings... This option is considered the most reliable and durable. Carbon strings for guitar allow you to get an unusual and bright sounding timbre. Kevlar material with high strength is often used in their manufacture. Kevlar strings are usually medium tension and come with a variety of windings, including silver. Carbon combo guitar strings can last for quite a long time.
