How to make and arrange cards for seating guests at a wedding with your own hands?

A wedding is an important event in the life of two people who have decided to unite their lives. Someone prefers to spend it as alone as possible, while someone arranges a celebration with many guests. When inviting friends and relatives to a restaurant on the occasion of this event, you should make sure in advance that each of them gets a place at the table. The seating plan and seating cards will help you with this.

It often happens that the relatives of the newlyweds do not get along very well, but you cannot invite some and leave others unattended. To avoid quarrels at the holiday, you can arrange the seating of guests in a special way - to plant next to each other only those who definitely get along. After all, communication between guests is also important at a feast, especially when they are sitting at the same table.

If it is a cardboard, then it can be either a traditionally rectangular shape or any other. You can also take different shapes for men and for women - so it will be clear from afar who is sitting where, and will speed up the seating process.

Once you've decided on the design of your seating cards, it's time to start making them. The easiest option is to order the printing of cards from a printing house. There it will be done quickly, with any fonts, drawings and even embossing on cardboard. However, you can make and sign the cards yourself.

The easiest way to make them is from cardboard or paper. You can independently print the inscriptions on the printer by preparing the layout in a graphic or text editor. Even the most basic computer programs allow you not only to write text, but to frame it and choose a beautiful font for every taste.

You can stick figures from polymer clay - this will become a small gift for guests that will delight them for many years. Or you can make figurines from edible materials - then they will become a pleasant dessert. This can be, for example, edible mastic. Its most delicious options are from gelatin or marshmallow.

Another edible type of seedling cards, which no longer resembles cards as such, is gingerbread. We all know glazed Tula gingerbread cookies and their varieties. Recently, their various counterparts in the form of souvenirs have become more and more popular.

Such gingerbread cookies are easy to make yourself using the oven. And the names of guests can be written by hand with glaze and at the same time draw some symbolic drawing next to it. For example, hearts or wedding rings. And the gingerbread themselves can be made in the shape of a heart. You can also pack these gingerbread cookies in a transparent package - then the names will be visible, and guests will be able to take the gingerbread home after the holiday.

It is better to think about where and how the seedling cards will be located on the tables before they are made. For example, if these are ordinary cardboard boxes, it makes sense to pick up an additional accessory for them so that they do not look trite and do not resemble cheap restaurant armor.

The most basic option is to buy special paper holders. They are sold in every stationery store in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes. These stands look like narrow single clamps on a long stick or very elastic springs. Thanks to the clip, the sheet of paper attached from above will not fall on the table.

You can also use origami techniques and fold paper cubes, baskets, or something else that you can attach cards to. Or, paper figurines with names can be placed on plates or hung on champagne glasses.

Another great idea for a seedling card holder is pebbles. You can take an ordinary pebble, rolled by the sea and paint it with acrylic paints. Then wrap the pebbles with a beautiful string or ribbon and put a piece of paper with the guest's name under the wrapping.

You can also use something edible as a stand. For example, arrange canapes on plates. On sticks from them, attach a ribbon or card with a name. This way, guests can not only find their place, but also taste something tasty even before the main dishes are brought.

Or it might not be a canapé, but a small cake with a stick in the middle. You can do the same with any whole fruit. This can be, for example, tangerines, apples, kiwi or peaches.

Small flowers will become beautiful, cozy and very suitable for a summer wedding. To do this, it is not at all necessary to take risks with cut fresh flowers, which can quickly fade. And artificial flowers at a wedding are bad manners. Therefore, you need to pick up very fashionable little succulents in pots for this.

These desert plants are very unpretentious, bear little resemblance to cacti and look very cute. Among the many types, you can find those that are most suitable in color and shape to the surroundings of the wedding. And guests can hardly fail to note such an original accessory. They will take a piece of the wedding to their home, and there it will remain in a prominent place for a long time.
