Microwave oven dishes not only come in different sizes, but also feature different surface patterns. Microwave ovens of different brands also differ in the type of knot for connecting the dishes to the center itself.

Peculiarities

Modern household kitchen appliances make work as easy as possible. The microwave oven, for example, allows you to quickly reheat ready-made food, prepare a new dish, and some models allow you to bake baked goods. The main feature of the microwave is the possibility of daily use, a harmless effect on food.

The glass rolling dish for serving food can be placed on the table, thus saving time on shifting and washing the plates. The dimensions of this dish are compact, but they differ from one microwave to another.

Distinctive features of pallets are closely related to the dimensions of microwave ovens. These household appliances are conventionally subdivided into:

  • small (up to 20 liters);
  • medium-sized (up to 27 liters);
  • large (from 28 to 42 liters).

Medium 30-liter stoves are considered popular as they are suitable for a classic family of 3-4 people. Advanced models, in addition to the main pallet, include a set of accessories.

For example, there are multifunctional stoves, they are supplied with a tray with a lid, and also a grill grate... Instead of a grill, some models have a special disc that is suitable for grilling meat. Another disc is also a double boiler. Additional details are often essential in a modern microwave oven.

For example, the grill heats up quickly, is easy to clean, and provides a nice crust. If a fan is installed inside the oven, it provides a better cooking environment.An additional dish with a lid will allow you to experiment with different recipes. The same additional detail is useful for the auto defrost functionality.

High-quality equipment will undoubtedly become a reliable assistant and free up quite a lot of time that can be spent on studying with children or on your own vacation.

When choosing a device, it should be borne in mind that a microwave dish, tray, grill or plate will not replace each other. Using items for other purposes will damage the mechanism. And the stove will not be able to work without a rotating table.

The rotation of the part occurs synchronously with the mechanism that provides the emission of electromagnetic waves. Thanks to the on / off mode, uniform heating of food is ensured. There are universal trays on the market that, according to manufacturers, are suitable for different models. But if your stove is old, modern universal devices may not fit it. Another important nuance is how versatile the device offered for sale is. The main defining parameters are the dimensions of the pallet. The material of manufacture of almost all dishes for microwave ovens is tempered glass.

Dimensions (edit)

Popular diameters of microwave pallets are 245, 288, 305, 345 mm. Manufacturers offer the consumer goods at times with the same dimensions, but different dimensions. This is due to the fact that measurements are based on the maximum or minimum diameter of the plate itself, as well as the maximum or minimum diameter of the circle in which the stand can fit.

For example, the diameter of the rotating circle for which a particular pallet is suitable is taken as the size of the circle... The crosspiece, on which the plate was lying, will help to navigate in size, if the latter is not available. Using the ruler, you can determine the distance from its center to one of the wheels. The sizes of the cross are usually standard and are of three types: 17.5, 18.5, 22 cm, in fact, represent the inner radius of the pallet. The turntable diameter is the actual size of the product. To find out the correct parameter, experts advise measuring the depth of the stove from the far wall of the space inside to the extreme or lateral part of it.

To identify the desired parameter in millimeters, the result obtained in centimeters must be multiplied by 10. Experts also take into account the minimum supported microwave depth, that is, the internal dimensions.

If a universal pallet is selected, the minimum circumference must also be taken into account: the rotation for which a suitable pallet can be selected. Some manufacturers take into account the diameter of the bottom only up to the convex side, it is he who is called the inner one.

Due to the many variations in measurements, it is difficult to choose. In addition to differences in dimensions, there is a difference in the distances between microwave dish mounts. Usually, the larger the dish itself, the more significant the parameter between the central indentations. To facilitate the selection, manufacturers use the following terms:

  • D - outer diameter (max);
  • D1 - diameter to the inner groove for the roller base;
  • D2 - diameter to the outer groove for the roller mechanism;
  • R - radius to the cross, the part is not available on all models;
  • T - type and dimensions of the coupler.

How to choose a plate?

Microwave oven LG, Samsung, Supra - a necessary technique, which today is in almost every home. If a glass plate, which is an obligatory element, is broken or lost when moving, the question of choosing the right one becomes relevant.

To an inattentive man in the street, this task may seem simple: all the plates are round, glass. However, despite the external similarity, these parts have unique differences. A very wrong decision would be to choose a pallet at an inexpensive cost in an online store. A purchase without knowing important parameters will turn out to be an unjustified waste of money.

When choosing a plate, it is important to consider several parameters.

  • Microwave brand. Knowing not only the name, but also the series of the model will help in choosing the right dish for it. Managers will suggest the necessary detail, even if you don't know what it looks like.
  • Diameter. It is important not to be mistaken in the dimensions, as too small or excessively large part will complicate the operation of the microwave. A perfect match of dimensions can be achieved by accurate measurements of the oven itself.
  • Bottom relief. For example, cymbals from Panasonic or Samsung are characterized by peculiar protrusions. There are grooves on the dishes that act as legs on the back side.

Other popular varieties:

  • smooth without protrusions and depressions;
  • with one recess in the center;
  • with protrusions on the sides and in the center.

These details, although very small, are important, since in some microwave ovens the pallet is installed on the coupler, in others there is a special cross for installing the pallet. Cymbals that have lugs are usually designed for a coupler. Plates with a smooth surface will fit under the cross, also called a roller.

If the diameter and shape of the dish attachment are unknown, you can choose the right plate by the manufacturer's name. If this part is not known, you can select suitable items from various materials.

  • Heat resistant glass. The dishes must be fireproof and have fairly thick walls.
  • Porcelain dishes without gilding. If the dishes are based on this material, they should be used in the microwave, ideal for pure white dishes and cups.
  • Ceramic coated with glaze. These dishes are suitable for microwave cooking and show excellent results.
  • Glass-ceramic dishes. These types of dishes are very common in use, as they show resistance to temperatures and good strength. Food in such a dish can be both reheated and cooked.
  • Disposable paper tableware great for use in the microwave, but only as a temporary solution. For example, before buying a suitable dish. Ordinary napkins can be attributed to the same category. You can wrap baked goods in them, reheat them, while the product will not lose the characteristic aroma of fresh baked goods.
  • You can warm up your lunch in a plastic container. Plastic does not deform under the influence of temperature, food will not become more harmful. Commercially available containers are usually ideal for microwave ovens.

Heat-resistant silicone works well as a temporary solution for microwave ovens. The material also does not lose its qualities, does not deform from heating.

Care Tips

A microwave oven, especially if used frequently, accumulates various contaminants. Cleaning neglected household appliances becomes a problem. Incorrect actions during cleaning can cause damage to the oven and food. The manufacturer's recommended maintenance periods for daily use are twice a week.

When cleaning, water must not enter the inside. Several formulations are recommended for cleaning the tray and surfaces.

  • Dissolve the same amount of vinegar in 100 ml of water. It is recommended to place the bowl with the solution in the microwave and turn on the device for about 3 minutes. The power should be as high as possible. With the end of the time, you can open the door and see: the greasy stains have not softened. If necessary, you can start another 3 minute cycle.
  • 100 ml of water can be mixed with a tablespoon of baking soda. With this solution, the microwave must be run for 10 minutes. After the time has elapsed, it remains only to wipe the inner surface with a soft cloth. From a soda solution, the microwave will shine like new.

Another recipe involves the use of laundry soap. It needs to be grated, mixed with water to form a foam.The resulting product can be used to treat the stove inside and outside, leaving it for about half an hour. After the time has elapsed, the solution can be removed with a soft cloth.

You can rub the stove thoroughly with lemon juice squeezed from one half of the fruit. In this case, the second half can be put inside and turn on the microwave to warm up for about five minutes. All that remains is to wipe the microwave with a sponge.

The grill grate can be cleaned with a mixture of coffee grounds and common salt. The proportions can be taken in equal parts, the solution remaining on the surface is then simply cleaned with a rag.

All actions are recommended immediately after cooking; it is very difficult to cope with dried fat. Especially if the grill grate or spit is not cleaned in time.

It is very difficult to weather various odors left after defrosting or cooking especially fragrant dishes. To cleanse, you need a mixture of lemon peel and toothpaste. The proportions should be approximately equal, and the resulting solution processes everything inside the microwave. You just need to leave it for a while, and then wipe everything with a damp cloth. Lemon and vanilla will help get rid of odors inside the microwave. The ingredients must be mixed with water, and the resulting solution must be heated for five minutes.
