Permanent makeup starter kit
The beauty industry today is developing at a tremendous pace, so professions in this area are in great demand. This is especially true for permanent makeup masters. After completing the courses, such a specialist will also have to invest in a set, the components of which are quite expensive. Let's see what a classic permanent makeup kit should include.
Features and selection of machines
The tattoo machine is the most important part of the daily work of the artist. It is impossible to save on such a unit, because the result of the work directly depends on the quality of the device. Experts recommend choosing cars made in Europe, especially German ones. Their price can go up to $ 2,000, but this investment will pay off over time. If we talk about the types of machines, then there are, as a rule, two of them.
Induction
These types of clippers work with electromagnetic elements that can attract and repel steel strikers. During the process, a lot of noise is heard, but it is these models that can make a tattoo of a large area. They draw clearly, beautifully, quickly, and do little to injure the skin. There are plenty of disadvantages at the same time. The models are heavy, and if you work for a long time, your hand will get tired. In addition, induction solutions do not tattoo small areas very well, which is very important when injecting pigment.
Rotary
These device options are more expensive than induction. A motor is hidden inside the structure, thanks to which the operation of the entire device is carried out. Rotary models are practically silent, and they are almost not felt in the hand due to their low weight.
Advice: if you have just finished the courses and still do not know the features of different types of machines, start working on the familiar unit that you used in training. This will allow you to quickly fill your hand. If necessary, you can always change the device.
It is undesirable to use Chinese models. Yes, they have a very low and pleasant price, but such a machine is unlikely to last more than a year. And it can also break when you do not expect it at all, for example, during the procedure.
Description and purpose of pigments
Like the machine itself, the pigment for it must be of high quality. Solutions from Europe and America are recommended for use. Cheap pigments can cause a reaction, rejection, dramatically change their color after a while.
If you plan to tattoo any area, you should initially purchase about 6 pigments. Two will go on the lips, two on the eyelids and two more on the eyebrows. If you want to do one thing, you can take more consumables. If you are not too confident in your abilities, feel free to take samples, they will be enough for several procedures. After making sure of the quality, you can always buy a large bottle.
A few years ago, craftsmen made extensive use of organic pigments. Now it is irrelevant due to the large number of allergic reactions and a long rehabilitation period. Most salons use synthesized dyes. They give a bright, juicy and persistent tone.
When choosing products, be sure to check that the composition does not contain iodine, bromine and chlorine. The texture of the product should be dense.
You can buy a variety of dyes for eyelids, lips and eyebrows in online stores, beauty salons. The best reviews of both masters and clients received the following funds.
- Contur Professional. These are excellent inorganic dyes with increased durability. The manufacturer produces products only for eyebrows, and there are 5 decent shades in its line. The volume of the bottle is 10 ml.
- Phibrows SUP Pigment. Austrian products ideal for hair tattooing. There are also 5 shades here. The dye does not cause allergic reactions, does not change color, and is excreted on its own.
- Hanami Pigments. German dyes, in the creation of which innovative technologies were used. When used, the skin heals quickly and contains anti-inflammatory ingredients.
- Cosmocolors. Israeli sun-resistant pigments. They can adapt to the client's color type, have a glycerin base that prevents spreading.
What else is needed?
Of course, the permanent makeup starter kit includes more than just a clipper and pigments. Additionally, you will have to purchase the following components.
- Tattoo needles. It is important to use only disposable items. It is best to buy 10 copies. Six of them will be single-pronged and will fit any area. Four will turn out to be three-pronged, they are used for feathering. Each needle must have a protective cap.
- Sketch consumables. Before applying permanent makeup, the master is obliged to draw a sketch and discuss it with the client. For drawing, you will need gel pens, a marker, a template, pencils. Choose those items that are right for you.
- Anesthetic. This is a required element of the starter kit, since the procedure involves painful sensations. Saving is inappropriate here, because even one dissatisfied client is able to make anti-advertising. Anesthetics are classified as primary and secondary. The first ones are applied to fresh skin before the procedure and take effect after a quarter of an hour. The latter are applied during the session, and they only need half a minute to start their work.
- Antiseptic. This item is needed for disinfection. Chlorhexidine is still the best option used in most salons.
What else should be purchased by the master:
- tips for a typewriter;
- cotton pads and swabs;
- wipes, both wet and dry;
- organizer for convenient location of all items;
- micellar water;
- cotton buds;
- protective equipment for the client: a hat, a disposable gown, a sheet;
- a protective mask for the face of the specialist himself, as well as gloves;
- a container into which the used needles will be disposed.
These are the basic items that a novice specialist will need and should have at hand. Everything else can be purchased later, when the master reaches a stable income level.
