What should not be done after permanent eyebrow makeup?
A high-quality eyebrow tattoo, which a professional has worked on, can be an excellent makeup replacement for several years. For this reason, many of the fair sex prefer this particular procedure. However, there are some features that relate to eyebrow care after permanent and some prohibitions. In this article, we will figure out what should not be done the first time after the eyebrow tattooing procedure and why.
Is it possible or not to go to the bathhouse and why?
After the eyebrow tattooing procedure, it is not recommended to visit baths, saunas and solariums.
- This is explained by the fact that in such places, as a rule, there is high humidity and a fairly high air temperature. Both of these factors are contraindicated after eyebrow tattooing. Otherwise, when visiting the bath, the skin will heat up, which will entail its steaming and opening of pores, as well as profuse sweating. Ultimately, the paint that was injected under the skin will flow out, the eyebrows themselves are likely to deform, and instead of straight and clear lines, you will get something shapeless and blurry.
- Plus, after a bath, as a rule, washing is required, which is also not recommended after the permanent.
- In addition, for some time after eyebrow tattooing, baths cannot be visited for the simple reason that during this period there is a particularly high risk of catching an infection.... If the room and all the attributes necessary for the bath are not disinfected as expected, then pathogenic bacteria and fungi may be on them, which can easily penetrate the steamed skin - for this it will be enough to touch it with not quite clean palms.
A visit to the baths with full steaming is allowed only after the eyebrows are completely healed, which can take about a month. In some cases, the eyebrows require additional correction, after which you can visit the bathhouse only after another 2-3 weeks.
How long can you not wash?
After the tattooing procedure, moisture in the eyebrows is contraindicated for 2-3 days. In general, some masters advise to wait a whole week - after about this time, a crust should begin to form. Otherwise, there is a risk that your eyebrows will be deformed and uneven. They wash themselves during this period, as a rule, with the help of cotton pads, which are pre-moistened with slightly warmed water or chamomile broth. However, the eyebrows are not affected in any way.
They are usually cared for separately with cotton pads and chlorhexidine solution. From the second week, washing in the usual way is allowed. However, this must be done carefully. In this case, rubbing the skin with your hands or with a towel is prohibited. To remove excess moisture, it is best to lightly blot your eyebrows with a towel, otherwise there is a risk of ruining them.
What else do you need to give up?
During the healing period of the eyebrows, this area should be tried not to disturb at all.
- You cannot touch it with your hands, so as not to infect, and you certainly cannot rip off the formed crust from the eyebrows. Otherwise, a scar may appear, and the healing process will be uneven, which can lead to distortion of the tattoo.
- Swimming in open reservoirs and a pool will also have to be abandoned. And if we are talking about a hot summer with a scorching sun, then you will have to wear a hat and glasses without fail - high temperatures, and any changes in them, negatively affect permanent makeup at first.
- It is worth considering that cold air is also harmful for permanent makeup. This is because this factor has a significant effect on the human immune system. Subsequently, due to severe frosts, diseases can occur, including those associated with the skin. For this reason, many experts recommend taking special vitamins and immunostimulating drugs.
- With sports, you also have to wait a little. This is especially true for intense training. It is impossible to go in for sports for the simple reason that during physical exertion there is increased sweating, which can cause difficulties in terms of eyebrow care.
- For a good result after healing, you will also have to give up peeling and face masks. Of course, plucking hairs is out of the question.
- The ban also applies to the use of decorative cosmetics... It cannot be applied for the first 20 days after the procedure. This is because cosmetics stress the skin. The very application of decorative agents, as well as masks and scrubs, is mechanical, which can harm the fragile epidermis and negatively affect the final result after healing, noticeably distorting the work of professionals.
In addition, there is a high risk of infection, which will also not have the best effect on the eyebrows and skin.
