Eyebrow tattoo techniques
Many women prefer eyebrow tattooing. This allows them to forget about decorative cosmetics for a while. There are many techniques for such a tattoo, which differ significantly from each other. What is the peculiarity of each of the application techniques, and which one to choose, we will tell in this article.
Features of hair tattoo
Women who naturally have sparse and abnormally growing eyebrow hairs are recommended to do hair tattooing. The essence of this technique is that the master draws each hair, which ultimately creates the effect of natural eyebrows.
This type of tattooing is divided into two subspecies - European and Eastern. Both of these techniques differ only in the way they are drawn. European means drawing the same hairs that are located in the same style and have the same direction. The eastern technique is distinguished by a high level of complexity and consists in drawing a variety of hairs that can be directed in different directions.
Regardless of the chosen technique, with hair tattooing, the needle is inserted into the skin by 1 millimeter during operation, which allows you to maintain the effect obtained for about a year, with the condition that a mandatory eyebrow correction will be carried out in a month. It is needed in order to correct the shortcomings that have emerged, as well as fill those spaces that, for one reason or another, remained unpainted.
The peculiarity of such a permanent make-up lies in the fact that when applying the master works with a special machine.
It is worth mentioning the shelf life of the eyebrows designed in this way.As a rule, it mostly depends only on the type of skin. So, if the skin is oily, then the eyebrows will stay slightly less than on dry skin.
Description of the shadow technique
This technique, unlike all others, uses rich and expressive pigments.... This application method also includes several more categories. Among them there are Shooting is an outdated method for the present time. It is practically not used, since the effect after it looks rather pretentious and unnatural, which is why it is rarely preferred.
These categories also include shadow spraying, during which any areas are darkened, regardless of whether there are hairs on them or not. This method of application is suitable for women with different skin types, be it oily, dry or combination.
The shadow technique also includes a soft kind of shading. This method involves injecting paint between the hairs where there are gaps. Thus, it turns out to create the effect of thick eyebrows, make them more expressive, clear and bright.
Giving preference to the shadow application technique, it should be borne in mind that, if your skin is too oily, the result will not last as long as on other skin types. In other cases, if the skin is of a dry or mixed type, the result lasts for a rather long time, eyebrow correction with this application technique is carried out no more than once a year, and the result looks very naturalistic and bright.
Other species
Powder coating
This application technique involves the introduction of a coloring pigment under the epidermis in such a way that the eyebrows end up looking as if they were tinted with a special cosmetic product. It is rather difficult to understand that the owner of the eyebrows resorted to some other procedures, since the result looks natural and quite naturalistic.
This type of permanent makeup is different in that it allows you to get the effect of natural eyebrows. Plus, with this technique, there are practically no painful sensations, which is due to the fact that the pigment is shaded only in the surface layers of the skin. The procedure itself proceeds quite quickly, especially if the work is performed by a master with extensive experience - he will be able to cope with the application in about an hour. A big plus for many is the fact that the result of powder coating can last for about 3 years. However, he will be able to survive so much only on condition that the owner of the eyebrows will carry out their refresh every year, that is, restore the color without correcting the shape.
Of the minuses, only the high cost of the procedure can be distinguished. Nevertheless, the demand for it is still quite high.
Most people think that the powdery technique is practically the same as microblading. There are actually many similarities between these techniques, however, there are also many differences between them. So, with powder coating, the hairs are drawn pointwise with a soft shading of shadows, without a large number of cuts, which does not injure the skin so much. The restoration of the skin after such a procedure takes place quite quickly, which is explained by the fact that the pigment is injected only on the surface of the epidermis. On the other hand, with microblading, the healing process takes a little longer, since during application, to simulate real hairs, many thin cuts are created over the skin, which are immediately filled with pigment.
Pixel
The name of this technique comes from the fact that with this method of application, the painting of the skin area occurs with the help of dots resembling small pixels that penetrate the skin. This technique uses a special device that allows you to evenly spray paint wherever the master wants.
The pigment is injected under the epidermis in a minimal amount, while it ends up in the upper layers of the skin, and not in the lower ones. For this reason, the color of the eyebrows fades rather quickly, which is why you have to do the correction a little more often.
It is also worth considering that this method of application does not create the effect of natural hairs. As a result, the eyebrows look as if they were slightly tinted with special decorative means - a pencil or shadows. But changing the appearance or shape of the eyebrows using this technique will not work, because with this method of application, small dots are drawn, that is, the entire area is painted over, and not individual vegetation.
Watercolor
This technique got its name because of its peculiarities. Eyebrows made in this way look soft, with light and natural transitions, which is typical for paintings painted in watercolors. And also in this technique it is possible to mix several shades at once in order to achieve the most natural effect.
This technique is relatively new, which is why it is not possible to make such a tattoo in every salon. In addition, not every specialist is able to make such a tattoo, because it requires skills that need to be trained additionally. The master must be able to select and evaluate shades of colors and their types in order to create the color that suits a particular visitor, to make soft transitions.
This method of application involves the use of a special apparatus that allows you to apply the dye to the epidermis. In this case, only the surface of the eyebrow is filled, its contours are not drawn. The pigment itself is applied only to the skin and hairs; it does not penetrate deeply under the epidermis.
Nevertheless, the color does not fade so quickly - with proper care and regular correction, the color can last for about 3 years, and in some cases even longer.
Mixed
The method includes both powdery and hairy application techniques at once. In the process of work, the specialist draws clear lines that imitate real hairs, while shading them with a light pigment, which creates a natural background. As a result, the eyebrows look as if they were lightly touched by decorative cosmetics, which in general creates a naturalistic effect.
This method of application allows you to easily mask some external nuances, for example, small scars or the complete absence of hairs. At the same time, if the work was performed by an experienced master, the eyebrows will look organic, without conflict with the color of the skin, hair or eyes of a person. For this reason, work in such a technique should be trusted only by a professional master, because he is required to be able not only to correctly combine shades, but also to carefully draw each hair. Otherwise, the result may not be the most successful.
The permanent itself will last for quite a long time, if, of course, you take care of it correctly - it can last for at least a year.
Selection Tips
To choose between the techniques for applying permanent makeup, it is best to visit a specialist who can choose the technique that suits you. However, you can do this yourself. To do this, you must carefully familiarize yourself with the features of each of the techniques. It is also important to study the structure of your eyebrows, objectively assess their thickness, determine the type of your skin - often the last factor largely depends on how long the permanent will last.
Regardless of which application technique you prefer, the main thing is to choose a good and experienced master who will be able to perform the procedure efficiently and painlessly. It so happens that a completely inexperienced specialist takes on the job, which is why the client is not at all happy with the result. In this case, you have to look for another master who will correct all the shortcomings.
