Gothic is a style that originated in the Middle Ages. Then he extended mainly to paintings and landscapes, then he touched the patterns depicted on any surface. Nowadays, he got to the wearable fine art. Tattoos are pictures and signs. A distinctive feature of Gothic is the sharp contrasts between light and dark.

Despite the fact that people who are not versed in Gothic relate this style with sectarianism and worship of the devil, the juxtaposition of the devil and gothic makes no sense... Rather, the Gothic style informs outside observers that the bearer of such a tattoo is just an extraordinary person who challenges the system and established stereotypes. Especially popular are images of heads and skulls of various characters from films and computer games. But the picture doesn't have to be scary. You can apply, for example, the image of a queen or princess. This approach is more appreciated by girls. The more “kind” they choose, the better it tells about the combination of purposefulness and gentleness in their character. For guys, pliability and condescension can be associated with the image of an actor or rock guitarist. They also fill the image of their beloved girl against the background of complex paraphernalia. Images of trees with birds are most often chosen by travelers, lovers of walking and cycling out of town. But it can also be a cross (including a saint) - a kind of amulet for travelers. They choose the image of the anchor, steering wheel, sailboat and other attributes.
A special coloring is the "eye-wing" with a cross hanging on a ring, made in black tones with contrasting transitions (and not multi-colored, as in the realistic style).
But animal lovers can pin an image on themselves. exotic cat or dog, decorative rat, etc.... Sometimes they are workers of shelters for homeless people who found themselves in helping pets accidentally found on the street and having lost their owners.
Where can you locate?
The images of crosses are placed on the shoulder and forearm, on the wrist. Stage characters (actors, game characters, music performers) women stuff on the upper chest, while men use the entire chest. On the back and on the shoulder blades, the heads of mystical characters or their entire images look beautiful. At the same time, the mood and message of the tattoo do not matter.
Hands and feet are suitable for tattooing images of birds and animals. But in order, for example, to “cover” the entire back and neck with tattoos, almost all images are suitable. Plan their location taking into account the proportions, complexion of your body. Some tattoos form a kind of sleeve. They occupy part of the forearm or all of it at once. But there are also tattoos on the entire arm: they go down to the very wrist of each hand.
For men, an image of an octopus can be a variant of such a tattoo: the long tentacles in the figure can twist ornate, covering almost all of the skin around the arm. Ladies can choose animals, gothic ornament, gothic flowers.
Full chest tattoos are used by guys with an average and thin physique. Often on the images you can see inscriptions, faces of actors and favorite characters. And in such drawings, you can clearly distinguish a lion, an owl and other predatory representatives of the local fauna.
The Gothic style is perfect for hiding moles, freckles and birthmarks.
It is contraindicated to remove them later: damage to moles and other similar points on the skin is guaranteed to lead to massive scarring of the body, and a violation of the skin of some will certainly provoke melanoma. Only artificial cultivation and transplantation of skin fragments can save a person from the consequences of ill-considered tattooing, but such plastic is extremely expensive and also unsafe.
