In the manufacture of summer dresses, skirts, blouses, shirts, a material called "kashibo" is often used. The fabric has a set of certain characteristics. In order to properly care for products made from this material, it is recommended to study its inherent properties.

What is this material?

Kashibo is a synthetic material. Its main characteristics are lightness, softness, it is pleasant to the touch. The main component is polyester. The material is endowed with the following properties:

  • the density is 130-140 g / sq. m;
  • low water resistance;
  • hygroscopicity varies from 6 to 12%;
  • the fabric has a high rate of moisture absorption;
  • electrification and air exchange are at an average level;
  • high vapor permeability.

The main producing countries of the material are China and South Korea. It has become very popular over the past years because it costs much less than other fabrics with identical properties.

The popularity of the material is based on a large number of its advantages. They are as follows:

  • breathable and vapor permeable, therefore ideal for creating summer clothes;
  • produced in a variety of shades;
  • easily draped, does not shrink and does not fade (subject to proper care);
  • the canvas itself and the products have a relatively low cost;
  • the material does not require special maintenance.

Of the minuses, it should be said about the ability of the material to accumulate static electricity. There are also some difficulties when cutting and sewing, since the fabric itself has a sliding surface. People who are prone to allergies may experience a rash reaction when wearing these products.In addition, with insignificant mechanical stress on the fabric, snags and tightening can form.

Produced in two directions:

  • crepe with a rough surface;
  • chiffon, which is smoother and more silky to the touch compared to the previous version.

Based on the description of the material, it can be understood that it is more often used for sewing summer clothes. But its use does not end there.

Application

Kashibo is rightfully considered a feminine material, since it is practically not sewn into men's clothing. More often it is used to create summer wardrobe items:

  • dresses and sundresses;
  • blouses;
  • skirts;
  • wide pants.

Sometimes shawls, stoles and shawls are made from kashibo. You can sew home textiles - tablecloths, napkins, some kind of capes. Due to the fact that the fabric has bright colors, the products are actively worn in the summer.

Care Tips

As already mentioned, the Kashibo matter is not particularly whimsical to care for. Despite this, some rules still need to be followed so that the fabric does not lose its original properties. The standards of care are as follows.

  • Kashibo items can be washed both by hand and in a typewriter, but separately from other products. When washing, it is recommended to use liquid products that do not contain chlorine and other similar aggressors. It is necessary to choose a delicate mode, without spinning.
  • Interestingly, the clothes do not need to be ironed, so they do not need to be ironed or processed with a steamer.
  • In the case of heavy contamination, it is permissible to take things from kashibo to dry cleaning.

Despite their synthetic origin, kashibo products are really popular, especially in the spring and summer period. This is confirmed by the reviews of those who already have such things in their wardrobe.

Most often, women note good air permeability, lightness, the ability of the fabric to dry quickly after washing and the absence of the need to iron things.
