• Oxfords are shoes with closed lacing (the laces are closed under the front of the shoe). Another name for Oxford is balmoral. The footwear acquired this name in honor of the Scottish fortress of Balmoral. Over time, Oxfords have changed their appearance and differ from the old model by the stitching along the welt of the shoe;

• brogues are shoes with small holes in the front. The holes ventilate the shoes well and prevent the foot from sweating. Previously, brogues were used by farmers and are now widely used by golfers;

• Derby shoes are open-laced shoes in which the sides are sewn over the front. Derby shoes are a versatile shoe for any event. If Oxfords can be called formal shoes, then derby shoes are casual shoes;

• desserts - the name of this shoe literally translates as "desert". This is not surprising, since these shoes were worn by British military personnel during their service in Africa. This shoe has a lightweight comfortable last and an inflated top. The main advantages of this model are a strong sole and soft suede, which help less load on the foot when walking;

• loafers are large suede shoes with sturdy, thick heels with fringes at the front and / or at the edges. They look rough on the leg, but are especially popular among the fair sex;

• Monks are a pair of slip-on shoes. Instead, there are buckles on the shoes, on which the shoes are fixed;

• Chelsea boots are cropped boots (ending at the ankle) with a slightly pointed toe and elasticated inserts on the sides. It is very convenient, because Chelsea can be put on and off without wasting time on rivets, laces and locks.
