A tunic with a hood is a great option for those who appreciate not only style, but also originality and comfort.

Models

Sporty tunics don't have to look like sweatshirts. They can have a loose or fitted cut. Lengths vary from short (up to the hips) to long (up to the knees).

There are also maxi models to the ankles, which look organic with hoods. Differences in different styles may also lie in the length of the sleeve (its complete absence, three quarters, up to the palm), the shape of the neck (with or without a collar, round or v-shaped).

Depends on the style of the tunic and on the selected material. From lace, guipure, mesh, shiny yarn, very elegant tunics are obtained, despite the presence of a hood.

The main thing is that it is small, and then such a thing can be worn even for an official event. Most often it is still cotton, linen, knitwear, viscose.

Summer models are made of chiffon and silk, and winter ones can be knitted.

A sporty style presupposes a certain conservatism in color: gray, black, white, blue. Monotony or the presence of simple prints, ornaments, for example, stripes. Often, the hood is deliberately made in a different color, so it becomes the main element of the product.

Usually on tunics one can find any, even the brightest and richest decor, but in sports style the decorations are more modest - embroidery, lacing, applique, patches, inserts from other fabrics (leather, lace, mesh).

The differences even apply to the hoods. They can be small and large so that they easily hide the face. It can play a decorative role or pursue quite practical goals. The hood protects well from cold and wind, and holds hair back during sports.

What to wear with?

A tunic is the thing that can be easily combined with almost everything in the closet. This also applies to models with hoods.

Loose items are best combined with tight items such as jeans, breeches, capri pants, trousers. The undoubted plus of tunics is that they can be easily worn with leggings and leggings.

Elongated models can be worn at all with or without tights, if the weather permits. Despite some sporty motif, the tunic can be easily combined with skirts (best narrow) and shorts.

Lighter beachwear can be worn directly over a swimsuit. And to keep warm in the fall or winter, a blouse, a T-shirt, a fitted shirt are suitable for a tunic. Bombers, parkas, leather jackets are used as outerwear.

Tunics with a hood will look most harmonious with flat-soled shoes, for example, boots, ballet flats, sneakers.

With some models and images, sneakers, platform boots, high boots, shoes are no less appropriate.

A long tunic may well be an independent outfit. Feel free to put on a bright model with an ornament, put on sneakers and that's it, you are ready to go out!

The presence of a hood does not oblige the tunic to be boring. A free model with delicate inserts of lace or guipure inserts will easily be combined with torn shorts.

An elegant tunic with a deep cut, asymmetrical edges and slits can be the basis for a very delicate look. To complete it, you should choose skinny jeans and high heels.
