Warm tunics
Models
A warm tunic is an indispensable item for the cool season. In addition to excellent thermal insulation, such tunics are quite attractive and comfortable. And a good length that covers the hips will come in handy more than ever in the cool season, when girls and women of any age should protect themselves from hypothermia.
There are a lot of materials from which warm tunics are made. The warmest products are obtained from merino and cashmere wool, mohair, angora and acrylic. There are also many styles of warm tunics: tight-fitting, fitted, loose, with a stand-up collar or, on the contrary, with a deep cut. Outwardly, warm tunics can resemble a long pullover, short dress, sleeveless jacket or vest.
In winter, models with northern patterns are relevant. These are, as a rule, animal and snow motifs located in the upper part of the tunic, as well as located along the hem and cuffs of the sleeves. In the off-season, tunics with short sleeves are especially popular. Turtlenecks or badlons are usually put under them. Products with drawings, prints or knitted patterns in the form of plaits, braids and knobs are quite popular.
If a warm tunic has a voluminous collar or a hood, then they are an excellent additional insulation for the neck, wearing such a tunic, it is quite possible to neglect a scarf.
Some tunics are so long that they can be worn like a dress. Such products are often decorated with bright decor - embroidery, sequins, buttons, patch pockets ... A warm tunic in white, black, brown or gray tones can perfectly complement a business-style look. Models of tunics with a high waistline in the Empire style are useful for creating everyday ensembles. In this form, it is quite appropriate to go both to a business meeting and for a walk. A warm tunic is perfect for home wear as well.
This warm boho tunic has a semicircular hem that starts just below the thigh and ends at the mid-calf. In addition to the semicircle, both curved and concave, full asymmetry of the hem is allowed. Typical decor for boho tunics is flirty lace, flounces, ruffles, fringes and contrasting geometric elements.
What to wear with?
The basic rules to remember when choosing the right ensemble for your warm tunic:
- any tunic is worn only outside and never refueled
- if your tunic is decorated with a print or pattern, then the bottom is selected only in one color
- if the top seems voluminous and lush, then the bottom should be selected as tight as possible.
A warm tunic goes well with many types of clothing. This can be skinny jeans, skinny pants, tight leggings, and even stylish skirts. Girls with slender legs can wear leggings under a tunic. But for office work, this ensemble is hardly suitable, such an outfit is more appropriate for romantic dates or shopping.
Fitted models of tunics are perfectly combined with classic dark trousers and a pencil skirt, and a belt or a strap will also be a great addition to it. It is desirable to match the color of the belt to the shade of the shoe.
Do not give up on multi-layered images. So, in cool weather, under a warm tunic with leggings, you can pry off a shirt, the lower edge of which will slightly peek out from under the tunic, and at the end of the look, put on a fur vest on top. You can also put on a raincoat below the knees, a jacket to mid-thigh, a cape or an oversized coat on a warm tunic. Hats, scarves, snoods, stoles and gloves, matched to the tunic, will not be superfluous.
As for shoes, to create a cozy fall-winter outfit, a classic warm tunic is combined with boots or high-heeled ankle boots. Treads are not recommended by stylists. Flat shoes will also be relevant for a bow in a casual style. A warm chunky knit tunic looks good even with coarse masculine lace-up boots.
Young girls can wear warm tunics with stylish ugg boots or trendy "dutiki". In combination with skinny jeans popular among young people, such an outfit will be more than appropriate both for school and for a walk. To create a brighter image, large jewelry will be quite appropriate: earrings, rings, bracelets.
