In many chain stores, tubing is sold with an already inflated camera. It is very convenient - in the future you will not have to waste time pumping air. But when buying a ready-made tubing, it should be borne in mind that it is best to transport it from the store by car, since the inflated sled is very voluminous and heavy. Carrying them in your hands or taking them by public transport is extremely inconvenient.

Therefore, for ease of transportation, as well as when ordering from the online store, the cheesecake sleds are purchased folded. And before you start skating, you need inflate the camera located inside the colored case.

There are several ways to pump up a tubing.

• Using a compressor. This method is most preferable, since the tubing can be inflated with a compressor indoors, having previously correctly straightened and positioned the entire structure. To fill the chamber with air, it is enough to connect a hose with an adapter suitable in size to the hole on the chamber, turn on the compressor and wait until the chamber is completely filled with air.

• With a car pump. This option is also great for pumping up a cheesecake.Its advantage is that, when going downhill by car, the tubing can be inflated directly next to the snow slope. And also this method of pumping will take a minimum of time.

• At service stations or gas stations... You can also fill the tubing chamber with air using the wheel inflation devices. Using a device located at a gas station or service station, you can not only quickly pump up the tubing, but also check the air pressure inside the chamber.

• With a hand pump you can also inflate an inflatable sled. However, this method will require significant effort and time-consuming. Therefore, if there is no electric pump at hand, then you should buy a ready-made cheesecake. And if the air is slightly deflated during operation, it will not be difficult to manually pump it up.

When filling the chamber with air you should pay attention to its internal pressure. An indicator equal to 0.2-0.3 atmospheres is considered ideal.

In order to properly inflate the tubing at home, all actions must be carried out at room temperature. Tubing preparation consists of several stages.

1. You must remove the case and camera from their packaging, remove all labels, or remove the stickers.
2. Lay out the structure on a flat surface.
3. Check the camera for visible damage or breaks.
4. Unzip the cover and place the deflated camera inside the cover through the hole.
5. Turn it over so that the inflation valve is facing up and is located next to the opening on the cover. Do not allow the valve to point downwards or to be at the bottom of the product, as it will quickly damage the cover during riding and may also cause the camera to burst.
6. Connect the compressor hose to the valve, secure and start air supply.
7. After reaching the required pressure level, the compressor must be turned off, then disconnected from the valve located on the chamber.
8. Place a plastic plug on the valve.
9. Zip up the cover.

Thus, the inflatable sled will be ready for further use. It should be borne in mind that the chamber may inflate unevenly when filled with air. If, during the inflation process, some part of the chamber becomes more convex, you must press on it with your hand or press down with your knee and continue filling it with air. This manipulation will help the rubber to inflate evenly from all sides.

If, after the completion of inflation, some side looks more voluminous, then it is necessary to deflate a little and turn the camera so that the tubercle is in the place where the back of the person riding the tubing will be. In this case, the unevenness will serve as additional support for the back and will not be felt during the descent.

High-quality inflatable sleds are quite expensive. And therefore, it is very often used for more than one season. To keep the tubing in good condition, you need to adhere to some recommendations and rules for caring for it.

1. Maintain the required pressure inside the chamber. Since an incompletely inflated chamber will lead to an increase in the space between it and the cover, which contributes to faster abrasion of materials. Excessive pressure inside the camera can lead to its rupture during skiing, and discomfort during skiing associated with strong impacts on the snow surface during the descent will be felt.
2. Inflating the tubing is best at room temperature.... Since in the cold, rubber loses its elasticity and is capable of cracking or leading to rupture.
3. After bringing the tubing home from the cold, you should deflate a little... Since the rubber can burst from a strong temperature drop. Storage outside the home during cold periods is undesirable.
4. When inflating, you need to ensure that the camera is evenly distributed inside the case, avoid possible distortions and unnecessary folds, as this can lead to rapid abrasion of the outer material.
5. It should be borne in mind that when inflating, the chamber may inflate unevenly, and slight bumps in some places are an acceptable norm. Do not allow the use of products if a hernia has formed on the surface of the camera. Such damage can be dangerous, as the camera can explode during the descent.
6. Store tubing in summer, it should be folded in its original packaging, after removing the camera from the case. When stored for a long time, rubber can stain the upholstery material, and the appearance of the tubing will then be damaged.
7. During storage, avoid direct sunlight on the parts of the cheesecake... Under the influence of ultraviolet light, the fabric of the cover can lose color, and the rubber of the tire can lose its elasticity and crack.
