All about viscose napkins
In the past, cleaning an apartment or house required a lot of time and effort from the hostess. Now there are a huge number of different assistants in this difficult task, who make cleaning not so difficult, and sometimes even enjoyable. These include, for example, viscose napkins. These soft cloths do an excellent job of removing all kinds of dirt.
How is viscose made?
This fabric is formed from wood. The result is a canvas that is used to create clothes, accessories and, of course, wipes for wet and dry cleaning. The technological process is a series of activities:
- the tree is crushed into chips;
- chips are boiled in an alkaline solution;
- the resulting mass is pressed into a plate;
- bleach;
- with the help of chemical action, the plates are broken into fibers, from which fabric or thin non-woven material is made.
To make cleaning as productive as possible, many companies produce spongy viscose napkins. They are much thicker than traditional material and, accordingly, absorb more moisture, while being easy to wring out.
Peculiarities
The properties of this material stand out against the background of other artificial fabrics:
- the fiber is hygroscopic - it perfectly absorbs the maximum amount of liquid;
- does not electrify - you do not have to worry about the appearance of a "shooting" charge on the surface, which is especially important for dry cleaning of premises in winter;
- the material is environmentally friendly, as it is based on wood;
- does not pose a threat to the environment when disposed of;
- does not cause allergies;
- with the help of such napkins, you can wash dishes without detergent;
- easy to wash in the washing machine;
- do not scratch delicate surfaces, such as glass, screens and monitors, polished furniture;
- does not leave lint during home cleaning.
Thanks to such advantages, we can say with confidence that viscose wipes are an excellent cleaning product, as they are versatile and can get rid of any dirt. It is also worth noting the fact that viscose napkins are inexpensive. Of course, the price depends on the manufacturer, but in any supermarket you can find budget options that are cheaper than analogues. Viscose products are easy to wash and reuse, but were originally intended to be disposable. That is, after cleaning contaminated surfaces, for example, kitchen ones, they can be thrown away. This approach is very convenient in everyday life and leaves no room for mold and microbes to form.
As for the disadvantages, the main disadvantage of viscose napkins is the following fact: when wet, they quickly lose their strength and break easily. They differ in this quality from, for example, bamboo napkins and microfiber.
Therefore, the use of such funds for a long time is impossible - you have to throw them away after two uses. Also, on some variants, there is no lint and other irregularities, which negatively affects the quality of cleaning of heavily soiled surfaces.
Views
Household viscose napkins are conventionally divided into two types: universal and floor napkins.
- Universal napkins. They come in a variety of sizes, but usually they are presented in the 20x25 cm version. The density of such material depends on the manufacturer and pricing policy, but it should be noted that very thick napkins are not used in this category. The described option is suitable for cleaning almost any area: kitchen, bathroom, toilet, car and furniture.
- Floor wipes. The size of such material is increased depending on the purpose - it varies, starting from 50x70 cm. This category is characterized by increased density, which makes it possible to wash heavily soiled surfaces.
Currently, about 70% of spongy viscose wipes are produced as general purpose wipes, and the rest belongs to floor wipes.
Packing
There are two options for packing viscose napkins: individually and in a roll. If a person needs the help of such funds only once, then you can limit yourself to piece napkins. The roll is a set of viscose napkins that are wound on the base and separated by perforations. It is convenient to leave them in the kitchen or bathroom on a special pin and tear them off as needed. Wipes are always close at hand - they can be used for both cleaning and sudden incidents such as water spills or bleach.
