To make the strips even, depending on the size of the original sheet, they act in two ways: they draw the sheet into strips 3 mm wide or create a template of the desired format, and then print the sheet and cut it into strips.

You can cut paper not only with ordinary scissors: beautiful paper ribbons are obtained when shavings are created with scissors with a curly edge. In this case, markings are made, the paper is placed on the substrate and, having installed a ruler, it is drawn along the line with a knife, cutting the sheet into separate tapes.

The uniqueness of hand-made paper filler is the combination of straw and decor. For example, you can cut the paper, wrinkle it slightly, fill the voids in the box with it, and decorate with bright elements obtained with the help of a curly hole punch. For example, kraft paper straws combined with bright scarlet hearts or white openwork butterflies will look beautiful.

Optionally, you can decorate the gift with sweets in bright packaging. For example, they look very nice when paired with craft paper straws. The same straw can be supplemented with pine cones, which will create a special mood when decorating a New Year's presentation.
