Renting a cafe is a standard solution. And there is nothing wrong with that. Usually a whole room is booked because it needs to be divided into zones. One will have a large table, the other - the playing area, where the main program will take place. Some posters and banners can be brought with you, but the main decor may be behind the service provider. If there are animators, the decor is often included in the cost of their service.

If this is a specialized children's cafe, it is even better: there will be an appropriate setting, and the menu will certainly be simpler.

Of course, this idea no longer applies to the budget. And it is not always clear what to do with the stage design, which is often improvised in a cafe. But you can definitely consider the option.

All of the above has already happened many times, but there are parents who sincerely want to surprise their children.

Unusual venues for the event:

  • camp site with an obstacle course and other activities - if the class is smart, and the parents of physical education are not afraid, why not see this option;
  • museum offers - not in every museum this is appropriate, but there are halls and thematic centers where the atmosphere is conducive to such activities, and the external design will be original and will be remembered by children and adults;
  • art studios - many artisans and artists, those who are engaged in arts and crafts or floristry, for example, rent out beautifully decorated studios for photo shoots and mini-weddings, birthdays, perhaps a graduation ceremony can also be held there;

An ethnographic museum in the form of a village in several restored authentic houses - very unusual for a graduation ceremony. But such an example shows that you can abandon the usual, routine formats in favor of something rare. Not forgetting that the main thing in this holiday is childhood impressions and memories.

For a child, a ball gown is not always the ultimate dream, and if girls more often agree with this, then for boys the option with an ordinary trouser suit is not the most vivid association with a holiday. You can give something for the 5th grade, but, probably, this will not particularly please the children. It's not so much about every word written in the script - rather, about the designation of all the moments that can only be foreseen.

  • Official part. These are the words of the GPA teacher and educator, most likely, and someone from the administration. This is the presentation of letters, gratitude, diplomas. Here the organizer only brings the speakers to the floor. But there are usually two columns in a plan: one is words, the other is action. And where the action is, you need to describe who gives flowers to the teacher and guests of the holiday, what flowers, who will have them, which of the parents helps with this, etc.
  • Concert part... It usually has its own internal script, and most often the children themselves lead the alumni concert. It is necessary that it does not contain cumbersome verbal structures, an abundance of text. Light sentences, a lot of humor, delicacy - that's what is needed.
  • Go to the game part. Often there should be a break between the concert and the play part, for example, the children need to change. And this gap should not be chaotic in the script. You can even ring a bell to simulate a school recess so that the timing is respected. For the bored, you can put a board on its legs, on which to draw a comic crossword puzzle or something like that with chalk.
  • Game part. Usually animators are engaged in it, and at this time both children, parents and teachers participate in the program or simply observe. And even though children often ask for “more,” 3–3.5 hours is the optimal time for the entire graduation ceremony. And the distribution of time can be as follows: the solemn part - up to half an hour (preferably 15–20 minutes), a concert - 50 minutes, a game program and tea drinking - 1.5–2 hours.

  • You can prepare in advance several paper bags that close well (with Velcro, for example), then to quickly pack the food left after the "banquet" in them. Packing cookies in plastic files isn't the best option, though.
  • Calling a taxi for teachers after the holiday is not a whim, but a thoughtful moment, a sign of attention. Given that flowers and gifts can be tricky, this is quite appropriate.Some parents even order a taxi along with the payment for a bundle of balloons, which will also be in the cabin.
