How to do it yourself?
To embody the numerous ideas of wreaths on the door, it is better to start learning with the classic New Year's master class, as well as the floral spring one.
You can weave a composition from live needles according to the following algorithm.
- The first step is to prepare branches the required length, which depends on the dimensions and specifics of the planned project. For this purpose, not only spruce branches are suitable, but also pine, fir, thuja and other conifers.
- Frame Formed from stiff wire, a piece of wire, an old wheel, a kid's bike tire, or a willow vine. In fact, the material can be anything, but durable and not particularly heavy.
- Coniferous branches are placed on the frame in a clockwise direction and fixed with wire, fishing line or twine. It is important that the cut of the previous branch goes under the needles of the next one. The addition of new material continues until the composition looks aesthetically pleasing.
- The finished structure is braided with a satin ribbon and decorated cones, feathers, dried flowers, plastic toys and other accessories. It is more convenient to attach small parts to liquid nails, but ordinary glue or wire will also work.
In spring, a hydrangea wreath will look beautiful.
- First of all, the shoots with inflorescences are freed from the leaves, cut from the bottom at an angle of 2 centimeters and left for a couple of weeks in a glycerin solution. The drying liquid is preliminarily obtained by combining two parts of hot water and one part of glycerin.
- Finished blanks can be tinted with special floristic paint, and after that, all that remains is to fix them on a vine frame. Each stem will need to be glued to the base with floral glue.
How to fix it?
The choice of fastening for the wreath is determined depending on the size and weight of the structure itself, as well as the material from which the door is made. In any case, it is necessary to fix the decoration on the iron door without nails. For a wooden door, it is customary to use buttons or needles with tips. Light decorations can be hung using double-sided tape, the remains of which can be perfectly washed from any surface. For a metal entrance, a loop of strong wire or fishing line is easily twisted, which is then fixed on the door peephole and, if necessary, additionally fixed with tape.
You can also use a towel hook.
Beautiful examples
A delicate and elegant spring wreath on the door will turn out if you take as a basis an old wheel, which will be fixed on the door with a tape. Since the frame looks interesting on its own, only the left part of it is made out with natural materials. The base is completely "wrapped" in greenery, and several large pale pink flowers become bright accents. An interesting addition is a small silvered watering can, fixed to the right side of the wheel.
A luxurious looking New Year's wreath requires, in fact, the use of few materials. Coniferous branches are alternately fixed on the base of the branches. Further, the green structure is wrapped with a string of red beads; wooden figurines of deer and plastic winter berries are fixed on it.
