An autumn wreath on the head can be made from any materials at hand. To create such decorations, you can use leaves, branches, cones, as well as berries or nuts. Such crafts are complemented with artificial flowers, bows and beads.

Earlier, wreaths were used by people as amulets. The leaves and branches for them were selected very carefully. It was believed that each of them has its own sacred meaning.

Materials used to create autumn wreaths.

• Leaves. In order to make the leaves flexible and shiny, they must be thoroughly rinsed under water and placed in a bag with a fastener. There you also need to add a little water and glycerin in a ratio of 1 to 2. In this form, the leaves are left in the refrigerator for a day. After that, they are removed from the bag and dried well.

• Spikelets. This material can also be prepared in advance.Wreaths of leaves with spikelets look very beautiful and turn out to be quite voluminous.

• Branches. Wreaths made from such materials at hand are simple but attractive. You can weave a small headband from the branches, which is suitable for both children and adults.

• Cones. Dry spruce or pine cones are attached to the base of the product with a glue gun. To make a wreath made of this material look more solemn, the edges of the cones can be painted with silver paint or sprinkled with glitter varnish.

You can decorate crafts in this style with cinnamon sticks, rowan berries, cones or real nuts.

The resulting shavings are melted in a water bath and each leaf is dipped in this liquid. After that, the workpieces are well dried.

The basis for such a wreath must also be prepared in advance. For this, you can use birch or coniferous branches. They don't have to be dry. In this case, the branches will break when you try to bend them. The work on the craft consists of several stages.

1. The branches are cleaned from needles and twigs using a sharp knife.
2. Having separated 3-5 branches, they are neatly connected together with a piece of twine or linen rope.
3. The rest of the branches are tied to this thin frame. This should be done until the product is strong and bulky enough.
4. The finished rim is placed under the press overnight.

In the morning, you can start attaching the leaves to the base. This is done with glue or double-sided tape. The wreath will turn out to be multi-layered and beautiful.

Such an ornament for a girl can be woven from an ordinary grapevine. It is better to cut it right before starting work. In this case, the vine will bend well.

Leaves, any herbs and spikelets are used to decorate the wreath. Materials must be prepared in advance. Herbs should be collected in summer, tied in bunches and fixed with an elastic band. You can use lavender, rosemary and mint to decorate your craft. Bundles of fragrant herbs are applied to a ring made of grapevine and tied to it with wire.

7. Each of the leaves is attached to the base with glue.

When the composition in the autumn theme is ready, it is left for a couple of hours so that it is completely dry. You can decorate this craft with berries or even small polymer clay pumpkins. The wreath will turn out to be bright and beautiful.

Foamiran wreaths are a lot like felt wreaths. A master class on creating such crafts inspires creativity with its simplicity and originality.

1. The first step is to prepare the templates for creating the leaves. Using them, it is very easy to create details for a wreath. Cut leaves of different shapes and sizes from foamiran sheets. There should be a lot of them. In this case, the wreath will be voluminous and beautiful.
2. Using a thin brush or a piece of washcloth, paint small streaks and dots on each sheet with paint. This will make them look more realistic.
3. To attach the leaves to the base it was more convenient, pieces of wire 5-6 centimeters long are attached to them. This can be done with glue or by making small holes in the base of the sheet.
4. The edges of the leaves are processed with a lighter. They will turn out to be slightly curved. When working with fire, one must be extremely careful. After all, foamiran is very flammable.
5. Then the leaves are collected in small bouquets and fastened together with tape.
6. Next, you need to make the basis for the future wreath. For this, a wire with a length of 40 to 60 centimeters is used. It is neatly folded in a semicircle and looped at the ends.
7. Using scotch tape, the bunches of leaves must be attached to the wire base.

To make the wreath look more beautiful, you can gently sprinkle it with glitter varnish. Such decoration may well become part of the original autumn costume.
