If you love running, the cold season is not a reason to stop exercising. Choose the right outfit, comfortable warm sneakers, and a windbreaker that will keep you warm. Continuing to train in the fresh air at any time of the year, you will strengthen your health, tighten your figure, and a beautiful windbreaker will always make you feel doubly attractive!

Models

Oversized

A voluminous windbreaker with a lowered armhole is suitable for girls who are not accustomed to anything to restrict their movements. A loose-fitting jacket will allow you to move easily and freely. Please note that it heats up worse than fitted models, so you should wear thermal underwear under the bottom.

Fitted

A very comfortable jacket that will protect you from wind and bad weather. Prefer a mid-thigh model to protect your lower back from the cold wind.

Shortened

Windbreakers with a cropped hem are very popular, they are in demand among young girls who are not afraid to show their figure. Choose a cropped elasticized windbreaker to keep the cold wind out of your clothes as you run.

Anorak

Comfortable windbreaker for running that comes down to the waist or mid-thigh. Its characteristic difference is a zipper to the middle of the chest, which allows you to easily put on the product over your head. With elastic bands on the hood, hem and cuffs, you will be reliably protected from rain and wind, feeling warm and comfortable.

Will it save you when running in the rain?

To keep your windbreaker protected when running in the rain, choose a model made from special waterproof fabric.

Modern models, such as those made from Gore-tex or Windstopper, are, among other things, warm enough so that you will not only not get wet, but also will not freeze.

Remember that a good windbreaker should be thin and light, as the stiff, dense fabric will restrict your movements. Modern running jackets fulfill all these requirements. They are made of lightweight, breathable material that protects against cold and rain.

Selection Tips

First of all, pay attention to the presence of a hood... It protects from the wind, covers the neck and keeps the head warm. The hood should be comfortable, so be sure to check the fit when purchasing.

Sleeves should be light and loose, without unnecessary fasteners and elastic bands. Convenient zippered pockets are also very important. You can put your phone and other little things you need in them.

Choose a lightweight waterproof windbreaker that retains heat well.

The most important selection criterion is protection from rain, and in order not to freeze, you can wear thermal underwear or any sports jacket.

There are windbreakers with a thermoregulatory function, which are recommended to be worn on a naked body. When you run, sweat settles on the microvilli and is carried out through the breathable membranes. It can be worn for jogging until the air temperature drops below -10 degrees Celsius. Then you will need to think about additional insulation.

What to wear with?

First of all, while running, your feet should be warm, so you need to choose good running shoes for the autumn-winter period. To avoid slipping, spikes and projectors on the outsole will not be superfluous. They should also be waterproof and well ventilated. But if you only run on cleared paths in the park, these criteria are not necessary.

The most important thing in sneakers is moisture removal and warmth, because dry and warm feet are a guarantee that you will want to spend as much time on the run as possible.

We usually wear a windbreaker in mid or late autumn, when the mark on the thermometer drops to + 5 degrees. In such weather, you will not run in a T-shirt and shorts, so you should think about sports leggings (taysos) that will protect your feet from the cold air. They should fit snugly around your legs and fit perfectly. Many models have compression and ventilation properties, so running will be easy and comfortable for you.

If the weather is windy, wear a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. She also needs to "breathe" well so that you can feel confident and free. If it's very cold outside, you can wear thermal underwear.

Don't forget about additional accessories that, at first glance, may seem optional. Running goggles will protect your eyes, membrane gloves will keep your hands from freezing, and a hat, bandage or buff will keep your head warm.

Running in the cold season is not only possible, but also necessary! Physical activity in the fresh air lifts your mood, hardens the body and gives a beautiful relief to your body.

Dress warmly and run for fun.
