How often can hair botox be done?
Hair botox is an effective measure of enriching it with useful substances, thereby improving the appearance of the curls. Like any cosmetic procedure, Botox has its own nuances. Let's briefly revoke its highlights and frequency.
What is included?
The list of active substances of the drug consists of many active ingredients. These are vitamins A, B, C, E, proteins, amino acids, keratin, collagen. In addition, the ingredients of the product are vegetable oils, plant extracts and hyaluronic acid. No less important substances are elastin, cysteine.
Who needs it?
This cosmetic procedure is indicated for those who have:
- there is a cross-section of the ends of the strands;
- there is a high fragility of the hair;
- the growth of curls is slowed down;
- hair is dull, weak, and painful;
- sparse hair is noticed;
- thinned curls.
The procedure is indicated for baldness, it helps to stimulate the strengthening and restoration of hair follicles.
How is it going?
On average, the procedure takes no more than an hour and consists of several consecutive actions. First, the hair is washed using a special shampoo with a cleansing effect. Sweat and dust must be removed as well as styling residues. Next, the botox itself is prepared: the ampoule and the syringe are placed in hot water for 2 minutes. After the botox becomes transparent, it is taken from the ampoule and combined with water, then mixed until a white solution is obtained.
Apply the composition to the partings, distributing the product along the entire length. After about half an hour, a special fixer is applied to the strands and after another 5 minutes everything is washed off. During the procedure, a special hat is put on to create a greenhouse effect.This allows the hair scales to stick together, in addition, nutrients are better absorbed under the cap. After rinsing, the stylist smoothes the strands with an iron, thereby sealing the botox inside each hair.
How often can you do it?
Botox is a beneficial procedure for hair. However, its cyclicality depends on the condition of the hair and the age of the woman. If the strands are healthy, consolidation of the result is possible no earlier than 14-16 days after the first procedure. However, this data cannot be perceived, as a rule, for all cases. Only a specialist is able to correctly assess the condition of the hair before starting the procedure and recommend a certain time period until the next session.
In addition, the frequency may depend on the type of botox treatment. It can be hot or cold. The second technique involves straightening the hair, which is done after applying the health serum. The first action is aimed at eliminating problems and skin integuments and stimulating hair growth. This procedure can be repeated no earlier than 3 weeks later to consolidate the effect obtained.
It is impossible to do botox constantly and even more often. This leads to the opposite effect: with frequent application of Botox, hair becomes brittle, it becomes thinner and often falls out.
Experts note that botox can harm the strands, and therefore, ideally, the curls need a longer rest. Sometimes their structure is restored within 8 weeks. This may be due to various factors.
For example, botox treatment can provoke an allergic reaction in the form of itching, inflammation, peeling and even seborrhea. Also, the interval between procedures can be increased with the old age of the client. In addition, the interval between procedures can be increased by the number of days of menstruation: you cannot do botox if the client has critical days.
