A holiday and a simple feast should not be confused - food, even the most delicious, will not create a full festive mood. For this reason, the correct organization of March 8 these days assumes that guests, in addition to eating food and drinks, will also be busy with a competitive program that will help not to get bored and remember the celebration for many years. True, it is necessary to prepare for the competitions in advance, which means that it is impossible to postpone the drafting of the script until the last moment. To let readers know which direction to head in, we've put together some smart ideas on how to entertain guests at an event.

Funny games

Contests on March 8 should be funny so that those present do not get bored, but a comic competition program can be made up of various amusing tasks for adults and children. Here are some good examples.

  • The first competition is for women, however, they must agree to it voluntarily, not yet knowing what to do. To participate, at least two teams are required, each of which must have from 2 to 4 people - you can group according to any principle, as long as they are only ladies. When the teams are recruited, the task is announced: each team must choose one "model" from among their number, having thrown themselves on it with cosmetics, clothes and shoes.

The selected young ladies arrange a real fashion show according to the principle of a beauty contest - here you can walk from the hip, perform songs, and dance.

Such an event is usually held at large festivals, where there are many participants and there are men who will be spectators and at the same time the jury, although for fun, something similar can be organized for the men themselves, who, however, it makes no sense to gather into teams - let them perform individually.

The winner receives the official title of "Miss Corporate Party", which she shares with her team to a certain extent; the rest of the contestants are awarded consolation titles, such as "Main Coquette", "Miss Charm" and so on. Prepare titles in advance according to the number of teams - not a single woman on her holiday will be pleased to know that she has absolutely nothing to praise for.

  • Another fun is a game called "Follow Me", for which you need not just some presenter, but a person with decent dancing skills. The rest of the participants stand in rows facing him, after which the presenter begins to show the movements, starting with the simplest and gradually complicating them. The players repeat all the pieces after him - while you just need to clap their hands, stamp their feet or touch the nose, everyone will remain in the ranks, but then the eliminated ones will start to appear.

As you can see, this game is not for everyone - it is suitable only for active and completely healthy people, and only those who are friends with gymnastics or dancing have a chance of winning.

  • Finally, you can also arrange an actress competition for young ladies with a creative nature., which is often called simply "the crocodile game" among the people. The essence is simple: the presenter (or the previous "actor") voices a task in your ear - to show a character, a phenomenon, literally anything. You cannot speak and make any sounds - the audience must guess for themselves what it is that a person is portraying on an impromptu stage.

In a large company with a leader, it is he who distributes the tasks, and the participants in the role of "actors" are not all those present, but only a limited number of them - according to the number of successes, the winner is determined.

Table entertainment

In fact, it is not necessary to go far or make sudden movements in order to entertain the company celebrating the Eighth March, because game tasks can even be performed directly at the table. The game, known as forfeits, exists in hundreds of variations depending on what kind of tasks it gives, but the principle is always the same: there is a conventional hat or box in which tasks are collected on folded pieces of paper. What you pull out is what you need to do, and refusal to do it can mean immediate loss or be taken into account for scoring at the end, when they will choose the winner.

Forfeits for a women's holiday are chosen in accordance with the nature of the celebrating company. In fact, play sets have long been released with ready-made tasks for every taste, from intellectual to slightly silly, but funny, but this solution has one big drawback - the owner of the game has probably already played it before, so in tests for erudition, intelligence and quick wits will have an edge over the competition.

It is another matter if the tasks for the forfeits are made by the presenter, who is not himself a contestant. If you are in this role and the company needs to be amused, write tasks like the following on pieces of paper:

  • show me how you walk on the ice;
  • complete any task to the author's taste (pour tea for everyone, enter the room, rearrange an imaginary bowl of water) as if you are Charlie Chaplin;
  • say a certain phrase, given by the author, with as many different intonations as possible;
  • depict a sad monkey with movements and sounds;
  • walk through the room as if it were a minefield;
  • open the window and shout out loudly: "Everything will be fine!" (or any other phrase at the discretion of the author of the tasks);
  • pretend that you are a funny dog and in this role, beg some of the guests for some food;
  • sing any song you like with your nose clamped with a clothespin;
  • with your nose clamped with the same clothespin, expressively say that you have the most beautiful voice in the world;
  • sit on a chair as if it were a horse and portray Chapaev;
  • fall on your knees and sincerely repent of the three sins that you really committed;
  • look at yourself in the mirror and say “how beautiful I am” or “how beautiful I am” with at least five different intonations, you cannot laugh at the same time;
  • pretend that you are an athlete, and everyone has to guess what kind of sport;
  • Give exquisite compliments to three of your opponents (or each);
  • get used to the role of an astrologer and tell each of the players what the next week in his life will be;
  • erotically eat a banana or ice cream on a stick;
  • expressively read a self-made poem in a non-existent (or, in extreme cases, incomprehensible to everyone else) language.

Music contests

Music is an essential attribute of any celebration, and in fact, even music may well be an element of the competition program. The simplest example is an ordinary karaoke, which requires a carrier ("ancient" videotapes, just old discs or a computer program) and a microphone. From the existing set of songs, each of the contestants chooses the one that he thinks he can master, and the audience chooses the winner.

True, modern technologies make it possible to achieve already objective results of the game - there is such software that programmatically evaluates the hit on the notes and gives the singers ratings by which you can determine the best.

By the way, the approach may be original, in which the singers of the evening are not chosen voluntarily and not for their vocal talents, but as a "punishment" for losing in another competition - then the repertoire of such poor fellows can be chosen by all the same viewers, focusing on what was funnier.

For a company in which more mobile contests are acceptable, a dance competition would be appropriate. Again, those young ladies who really dance the best should not necessarily win, because the task is with a trick: you will have to dance to a cut from tracks that are deliberately selected in completely different styles and rhythms, and their fragments replace each other unpredictably. If there is no opportunity to make a complete track in advance, the presenter will have to “conjure” with the technique on the go, but the participants in any case should take the audience with their confidence and enthusiasm. The audience chooses the winner.

Another option that is more popular among the older generation is competitive reading of ditties... The logic of the performance is approximately the same as in the case of the dances above - the participants themselves do not know in advance which ditties they will come across, because they pull them out written on folded pieces of paper from a hat or box. Whatever the meaning and the text, it is necessary to recite confidently and beautifully, adding, if possible, elements of acting and expression. In a word, it is necessary to win over the audience, which in this case decides who will be awarded the main prize.

Options for Seniors

All these fashionable holidays with an interesting program are usually perceived as something youthful, but after all, March 8 is also a holiday for grandmothers who do not at all deserve to be ignored. Even if they themselves are not used to the competition program - make it so that they can be involved in it! There are a number of completely decent yet effortless games that they will love.

"Gossip"

Actually, this is a game that is not directly timed to International Women's Day and is to some extent popular even among children, but nothing prevents us from including it in our program for celebrating March 8th. The props required are extremely primitive: an ordinary piece of paper (at least the size of a notebook) and a pen.

The essence is as follows: the first participant in one line writes some information about someone who is also sitting at the festive table, then wraps this line inside the sheet and passes it on. The rest of the participants take turns doing the same, which results in "gossip" at the end: a characterization of a person, collected at random from subjective scraps of characteristics of everyone present.

In some cases, the presenter specifically indicates the person to whom we will write "gossip", and even not necessarily present - if only everyone knew him. If this is one of the guests, then, of course, you should refrain from any jokes and offensive phrases - this can greatly offend the addressee, and the holiday will turn into a scandal.

In general, this is not a competition, since there are no winners or losers, and not even a game, but rather just fun, allowing you to pass the time between meals and toast.

"What is it in front of me?"

This is already quite a fun game, in which only perky grandmothers will agree to take part, because it is clear that everyone else will laugh at the actions of the participant. The principle is as follows: the participant is blindfolded so that she cannot see anything, and on the table in front of her, they successively put plates with inedible objects that must be guessed.

Actually, there are quite a few similar games, but they usually concern edible things, which are determined by smell. In this case, it is recommended to take things that are known to be inedible, which cannot be sniffed or touched. To add trickery and fun, the grandmother must identify the object by “feeling” it only with the cutlery.

"Ocean is shaking"

This type of entertainment may seem controversial in the sense that for many grandmothers the task will seem rather difficult. Nevertheless, a clear plus of entertainment is that even older people are familiar with it from childhood, only they are already accustomed to pretending to be serious ladies, and here you have a unique opportunity to relax for a while and just have fun.

Actually, this fun does not need any special introduction: all the participants stand in a circle and, at the command of the presenter, "the sea is worried once," begin to move, depicting various figures. Then there are the phrases "the sea is worried two" and "the sea is worried three", after which the main command sounds: "Sea figure, freeze!" At this moment, everyone should freeze in the position in which they were at the moment of the command.

Theoretically, it is impossible to move at all, and whoever budges will lose, unless he is able to do it unnoticed by the presenter.

Alternatively, you can not lose thanks to the option of reckoning - the presenter, noticing the moving participant, gives him the task of showing a certain figure, and if it works out successfully, the grandmother will stand further in this figure. To spare the old ladies, you can make freezes with timing - roughly speaking, if no one has shown movement in 10 seconds, then there are no losers, and everything starts anew. At the same time, players should be recruited so that grandmothers do not compete with young ones, otherwise it is easy to guess who will lose all the time.
