Nowadays, jacquard clothing is very popular, because such a fabric, thanks to the interweaving of many threads with the formation of a large pattern, looks elegant and luxurious. This material can include both natural, such as linen, silk, wool or cotton, and man-made fibers.

Jacquard belongs to expensive fabrics, but the skirt from it is durable and strong. It retains its bright color for a long time and weakly stretches. Since jacquard fabrics have different thicknesses, both summer models and skirts for the cool season are sewn from them. The length of these skirts varies, but jacquard maxi models are much less common for knee-length items and slightly above or below the knee line.

Curvy models

Straight jacquard skirts look original and are in great demand, but voluminous versions of skirts made of this material are much more popular.

The most current skirts, the splendor of which is created by many folds, as well as different types of flared jacquard skirts from the "trapeze" silhouette to the "sun" style.

Models with a wrap look interesting, as well as skirts with an asymmetrical bottom. Thanks to the interesting fabric, any of these skirts brings a zest to the wardrobe.

On an elastic band

Many models of jacquard skirts have a wide elastic band on the belt, thanks to which it is very comfortable to wear such a skirt. Such skirts are presented mainly in plain products with a straight cut, so they are in demand for a business style. Flared jacquard skirts with elastic are also common.

What to wear with?

Since the jacquard skirt itself looks bright and eye-catching, it is combined with an inconspicuous and modest top.

Plain clothes are selected for such a skirt, for example, sleeveless tops, turtlenecks, blouses, thin sweaters or shirts.

Decorations for the ensemble with a jacquard skirt are used to a minimum. A small handbag and high-heeled shoes look most appropriate with such a skirt.

Care

It is best to dry-clean jacquard skirts, and if this is not possible, wash it by hand in warm water (no more than + 30 ° C) with a mild detergent. Whitening and wringing jacquard material does not tolerate well, as well as drying in sunlight. After washing the skirt, it is gently wrung out and left to dry in a ventilated dark place. Ironing of such a skirt is permissible only from the seamy side.
