This is understandable, because they have the opportunity to make an original bookmark with one of their favorite characters or animals, be it a unicorn, Pikachu, a simple but cute frog or panda.

Bookmarks for books, made of colored paper and cardboard with your own hands, look beautiful and interesting, and the process of creating them is easy and entertaining. Even a child aged 4-6 years old can create such a bookmark without resorting to parental help. It is enough just to carefully read the instructions and act step by step so as not to miss anything important. Let's take a look at how you can quickly create a snake-shaped bookmark.

• To do this, you will need the following accessories: a thick sheet of A4 paper, a cardboard base of any color, colored paper, a stapler, braid, scissors, a ruler and PVA glue or glue stick.
• First, you need to measure a strip of thick paper, the size of which will be about 20 by 5 centimeters. On the same strip, draw a smaller snake shape and two eye circles. Note that the shape of the snake is drawn arbitrarily, but it must be sinuous.
• Do not rush to cut the workpiece: it will be much more comfortable to do it at the very end, when you finish making the applique. For it, you need to cut out stripes of any color, slightly larger in width than the snake itself.We glue the strips onto the workpiece in the order you like.
• We are waiting for the glue to dry, and all the details will fix well, after which we begin to cut the figure along the contour, and re-glue it onto a colored cardboard base. We glue the homemade eye tab and draw a smile. Separately, we make a hole at the very tip, in the area of ​​the snake's mouth, and tie a ribbon or ribbon in that area, thus forming a tongue. Ready!

A beautiful paper bookmark can also be made using the origami technique. This bookmark can be used as a corner for a fiction book or textbook, which will allow you to quickly find the page you are looking for where you left off. To work, you will need a square piece of paper of any color, a simple pencil and scissors. If you wish, you can also use colored pencils, pens or felt-tip pens to decorate your bookmark with a variety of elements. Note that the size of the square used for the blank must be selected independently, depending on the size of the book.

To create a heart-shaped bookmark, proceed as follows. To begin with, we connect the corners lying opposite each other together, thus obtaining an isosceles triangle. We smooth the fold line well with our fingers, after which we connect the side corners of the figure, again ironing the fold. We straighten the workpiece to the first triangle: we just needed to get an additional fold line.

Now connect the lower triangular corner to the center point of the lower edge. Bend the left and right corners to the same point. After that, you need to direct the right corner up to connect it to the top point. Iron the fold line well, then place the corner in the pocket, adjusting all the fold lines. We do the same with the left side.

Only a little remains! We draw semi-ovals with a simple pencil to form a heart, and then cut off the excess along the drawn lines. The origami corner heart bookmark is ready!

It is also not difficult to make a bookmark in the form of a tie for a boy. By the way, such a craft can also be presented on February 23rd as a small presentation or addition to the main gift. The course of work is quite simple, first we prepare all the necessary material, namely: colored cardboard, colored paper, glue, scissors and a simple pencil.

• We draw a tie of the size you need on a cardboard base of any color, and on colored paper we draw all the necessary elements to decorate it, be it stripes, stars, circles, letters, numbers or something else. We glue all additional parts to the cardboard base. The craft is ready!
• However, this is the easiest option that even a kindergarden from the younger group can handle. There is also a more complex way to create such a craft, namely: a tie, braided with a pigtail from stripes. It sounds, perhaps, a little difficult, however, if you follow the master class, then weaving such a craft will not be difficult.
• To work, you will need to prepare in advance a hole punch, a ribbon, four paper strips of different colors, scissors and double-sided tape.
• Initially, you need to take three ready-made strips and glue them with double-sided tape. To prevent the stripes from merging with each other, fasten a strip of one color with a strip of a different shade so that they run parallel to each other.
• Next, we start weaving. To do this, unfold the base of the bookmark so that there are two stripes on both sides. We bend one of them inward, we do the same procedure with a strip on the other side. We do all this to the very end.We cut off the excess paper, glue the corners to each other. In the upper part we make a hole with the help of a hole punch, and pull a ribbon through it. The bookmark is ready to use!

There are many other options for creating bookmarks that will look very interesting and cute. For example, from yellow cardboard you can make popular characters from the famous cartoon "Despicable Me" - minions. These bookmarks are suitable for both girls and boys. To make such a bookmark, you just need to cut a strip with rounded corners out of yellow cardboard.

Cut out additional elements from blue and black paper, namely: a costume, shoes and hair of minions. You can also make an eye out of paper, but it would be best to purchase plastic eyes: this way the bookmark will look more original. We glue all this with PVA glue. Ready!

You can also make a bookmark in the shape of a bat in the style of the Halloween holiday. To do this, you need plastic eyes, glue and a square of dark colored paper. We act in stages. First, fold the square in half, corner to corner, to get an isosceles triangle. We pull the upper corner of the first layer, connecting it to the center of the lower line, while ironing the fold well.

We bend both the left and right corners to the center point. After that, we unfold it back, and bend both sides up, as shown in the image. We fold the corners inside the pocket. Ready! We cut out fangs and wings from paper, glue them to the workpiece along with the eyes, which can also be cut out or purchased in a special store.

By the way, according to the same principle, you can make a bookmark in the form of a fabulous unicorn - this craft will especially appeal to girls. Of course, to create such a bookmark, you will need light paper, and as decoration, you can use decorative stickers in the form of flowers or butterflies, which, if you wish, can also be made yourself.

In general, in the form of a corner bookmark, you can make a craft with any animal: for example, with a cute panda, a dragon named Toothless or Pikachu. It is enough just to find the paper of the color you need, and show a little imagination.

It will be quite simple to make a bookmark in the form of a paper caterpillar. To do this, you need to cut out several circles of different colors, but the same diameter, and glue them together. Armed with felt-tip pens, draw the face of the caterpillar. Ready! By the same principle, you can make a bookmark in the form of a traffic light for a boy.

And the simplest way to create a bookmark is to print it out. There are many templates on the Internet with different cartoon characters and more. It is enough just to bend such a bookmark along the already marked fold line, after which it will be completely ready for use.
